Would you say the bus service to the parks get you there in a timely manner? I'm aware of the skyliner that goes to Epcot....and where else? What do you love or hate about the resort? I'm just doing some research for a 2026 trip in case my whole family comes. There's 5 of us. Secretly I'm hoping DH decides not to come. He already spends a lot of time at the hotel, so why waste the money? He's not really a Disney fan. He only comes because of our children. My two oldest are 18 and 14, and Disney doesn't appeal to them as much anymore, though they still like to go.

CBR has multiple bus stops and some people just hate that and if you get on at the 1st stop you will normally get a seat but then you have to ride around the resort to the other bus stops before heading to the park. Our family is very easy going and this does not bother us:) Skyliner is great for Epcot and HS and also means you only have to take a bus to 2 of the 4 parks. The resort as a whole is very large and depending where you room is it could be a longesh walk (up to 10 minutes) to a certain area, lobby or transportation, they do have an internal bus that you can jump on to also get around the resort. I will say that the 2 times we stayed at CBR, we never used it. It has a great zero entry pool and a very good FC and we really like the theme. Also, you can walk over to RR for other food options and to catch the skyliner from there.

Easily my favorite thing about staying at CBR was the Skyliner. It's our favorite mode of transportation so getting to travel on it to two parks is awesome. We loved our early morning walks to the hub, always stopping at the Joffrey's cart on the way, of course.

Our families are the minority type family, where we actually like walking through a great themed resort and not needing everything within a couple of minutes. I laugh when I read posts complaining about a 10 minute walk being "forever" or "never ending" etc. If they have a medical issue that is totally different.

After two stays it is a resort I said I would never stay at again.

The pluses ~

~ Skyliner, once you get to it.
~ Sebastians restaurant.
~ Kid's fold out bed for families of 5, if 5th is small stature.

The cons ~

~ The size ... spread out resort.
~ The inner bus system.
~ The chance to be FAR from main hub or Skyliner.

Personal opinion ~

~ The pool got improved with renovations.
~ BUT there is virtually no shade so not for me.
~ Skyliner and Riveria Tower take away the tropical feel.
~ Walking through the resort in warmer months is HOT.

We love it! The Skyliner is so convenient and we've never had any problems with the buses. Some people fine it spread out, but we've never found it an issue. My favourite section is Aruba, as you're near to the Riviera Skyliner station. There are also coke freestyle machines around the resort so you don't have to go to the main centre to get drink refills.

Honestly, my favorite thing about the resort is that you are at WDW, that's about it.

We've stayed everywhere on property and it's my least favorite resort. It's way too big and not easy to get from point A to point B.( I don't mind a large resort, I love CSR). The theming isnt great and the room renos are not great. I just think that for the money, there's much better options.

CBR is our favorite Moderate by far. The Skyliner is great for transportation and is so fun. We just love the laid back relaxed island feel of the resort. It's such a nice change from the craziness of the parks. The grounds are beautiful and we love strolling around the lake. Since they tore down the 9 buildings in 2 islands for the Riviera, CBR is the same size as Coronado and a tad bit bigger than POR. We have always been able to find chairs at the Main Feature pool and are big fans of the food options. Plus Riviera is right there for even more options. It really has a lot going for it.

Stayed there last summer for five nights and really liked it. Our room was bit old and need of refurbishment, but I think they've all been updated now. We stayed in a room in Aruba, I believe, that was about a five minute walk to the Riviera skyliner and just a touch longer than that to the main pool and lobby area. It was a perfect location. Sebastian's Bistro was great, and the main pool is super for kids. We usually stay deluxe or FW cabins, but this was great when there was just three of us. The only time we had any bus problems was coming back from MK at park close. That was a mess, but it seemed a one-off.

We've stayed there a handful of times and the only things I liked about it was the skyliner and proximity to Riviera. Otherwise, it's one of our least favorite resorts, including some of the values. The # of bus stops gets old after a lengthier trip, the transition from skyliner to bus service for inclement weather is really slow, the resort is very spread out and while we don't mind a 5-10 min walk, it loses it's appeal after several days of walking so much in the parks, who wants to do this at your resort?? The theming isn't that appealing to us, the rooms aren't that nice considering they just had a soft good refresh and we found the main QS dining to lack a lot of other options compared to other moderate QS. When we last stayed we had a discounted rate and even with that discount, we decided we were done with CBR.
