What do you HAVE to have at your DVC that you either bring everytime or store in an Owner's Locker? I have heard toilet paper can be sparsely doled out. { eeek! :confused3 } Any specific things for the kitchen, bathroom, etc?
I joined Owner's Locker yesterday, so will be able to use that for things we usually stuff in our bags. Where can I find a list of the contents of the kitchen? We will be staying in a dedicated 2 bedroom @ BLT.
I am getting in the obsessive planning phase!

it is not that disney is does not bring toilet paper - it is some of us prefer a soft toilet paper and will buy Charmin' or what ever works for you.

aluiminum foil, ziplock bags (or what you use), air mattress, candles (if you like) but only for the bathroom, flashlight, books, detergent, fabric softernor, what ever makes you comfortable.

A Magic Bullet blender as I have to have a Click espresso protein shake at least once a day. I have withdrawals if I don't have one.

all the bathroom supplies (shampoo, comb, hair bands, first aid, etc)

laundry detergent and dryer sheets

popcorn buckets (and any leftover microwave popcorn)

bottle straps

ponchos

refillable bottles ( 2 big ones and a few personal sized ones)

crystal light packets

laundry bag

soft sided cooler

sunscreen (if we'll be back within 6mths)

I don't think we keep any kitchen items in the locker nor do we bring any with us. What's supplied in the kitchen is enough.

My family goes through an absurd amount of tp and we've never run out. But it's been close! LOL

ETA~

we also keep ziplocs and aluminum foil in there too.

also we have the embroidery hoops and fabric markers in there too for autograph stuff

Sunscreen!!!!! A hat, lanyard and pins, AP, DVC card, camera, cell phone, laptop computer and all of the chargers and connecting cords especially the one that connects the camera to the computer so I can download my photos to upload them to the DISBoards while doing a live TR.

Ziplock bags of various sizes: snack, quart and gallon. Small plastic bowls with lids (Glad or ziplock) for leftovers or use for breakfast and cereals (real important if staying at a studio.)

If you are in a one bedroom or larger, you'l have a laundry basket in your villa.

Salt, pepper, sugar, coffee creamer, extra coffee if you drink it, coffee filters. None of them are provided (except for a single use starter pack).

We bring our big beach towels for the water parks.

We bought a panini maker on our last trip, so we'll probably bring that alone on future trips.

Coffee grinder and quality whole bean coffee. . .along with half and half and raw sugar to stoke my habit of needing a good cup of java first thing in the morning. . .

I have a huge amount of stuff in our lockers, but my MUST HAVES are my feather pillow and my framed photos of kids and grandkids, and my Brita water filter.

Mine is packed full also!! But next to some booze ;) we have sound machines. The four of us sleep with them at home so I always take them on vacation now I have two just for our OL so we are never without!!

Nightlights, ponchos, toothbrush holder, ziplocks, lanyards, iphone charger / cords, markers/crayons/paper for kiddos, dental floss, sewing kit, safety pins

And we always bring Dixie *to go* cups to bring our coffee with us in the morning.

And we pack assorted sizes of ziplocs, premeasured tide in small ziplocs and then combined into a larger ziploc, bounce, flip flops, sharpie, pillow cases and fitted sheets (can't stand the flat sheets shifting around), packable rain parkas/anoraks. And usually baby wipes--still useful even with my babies grown up.

We're getting booze next time! :lmao: In addition to what other have posted, a can of Lysol, a pizza cutter, iPod, and coffee filters.

My must haves are a little turbo fan (for noise) and my Kuerig one cup coffee maker. I also take the laptop and my water mister fans to help beat the heat in the parks...

For a DVC trip over a normal hotel trip: We bring salt, pepper, coffee (we use ground coffee for the trip but have it ground right before we leave), filters, sugar, a few snacks, and a box of cereal. We purchase milk, eggs and half and half at the store. Shampoo (it isn't replentished daily like a hotel). And a small tupperware of laundry detergent and a few dryer sheets.

We've always had ample toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent.

We keep the essentials most have mentioned here in our Owner's Locker. That includes full size shampoos of our favorite variety, hair spray, laundry detergent, rain ponchos, night clothes, swim suits, curling iron, razors, small sundries like nail clippers, jacknife, cooler bag, water filter, plastic wrap, zip lock bags, walking shoes for each of us, top of the stove giddle for pancakes and turner.

Besides clothes, our must haves are Annual Passes, extra pair of shoes, and cosmetics. We are able to get all of that in a carry on for each of us. We do our grocery shopping after we arrive, and that's when we replenish things for our Owner's Locker too.

WOW!! :worship: You guys think of everything! I'm very impressed. We haven't done the owners locker at this point and I usually ship a box from work before we leave so it's waiting for me when I get there. Then I use the same box and ship everything left (as well as souviners) back so it's waiting for me when I get back to work. But...after seeing your list I can see what we're missing and what we could do to make it even more like home.

Of course that's starting with the booze and coffee!

Wireless router, down comforters (these can squish really small)! We feel much more "at home" with our comfort items.

All you need is a 12 year old bottle of single malt scotch preferably Macallan's and a fan:goodvibes
