If you go on the DVC tour, do you get any bonus prizes like at most timeshares? What are the reqs. ?

Thanks

You don't get anything for going on the DVC tour, except for a smile on your face:jester: DVC isn't a bit like regular timeshares, for one thing it holds its value, and the DVC reps aren't going to continue talking to you if you don't want them to. As a matter of fact, if you are part way thru the tour, and you don't like what you see, they will just let you go with a wave and a cherry "stop back in to see us if you change your mind".

Since you go to Disney fairly regularly DVC might be just the thing for you. You can call and request a video if you are interested.

Actually, you do get something for going on the tour. We received a lunch/dinner voucher for each person in our party (kids included) or our choice of Fast Passes. I knew we wouldn't use the fast passes, so I took the Quick & Casual vouchers. This was Thanksgiving week of 2002, so it might have changed since then.

We were just there and recieved 8 fast passes for the 4 of us. It really didn't help because there were no lines. The fastpasses are supposed to expire in 48 hours from the time they are issued. This was a great tour and we did end up buying 200 points.

We loved the tour, but were disappointed in the Hilton Head Resort (where we wanted to buy) due to the fact that it was a mile away from the beach.
