...when you do the laundry?

I finds screws and jumpers (DH is a computer tech) plus an occasional thumb pick or flat pick (DH plays numerous musical insturments). And change for the change jars, of course.

In my own pockets I find alcohol pads (RN here), change, pens, and paper clips.

Today I found $8.00 and some change in 4 different pair of pants. Also, receipts, gum wrappers, and some hard candy. I swear, there's less in my kids' pants than DH's.

Tissues, tissues, tissues :furious:

My DH has terrible sinuses, but forgets to take his gross tissues out of his pockets. I hate it when I'm in a hurry to do the laundry and don't check, then find tissue pieces all over my newly dried clothes.

I tend to leave chapstick in my pockets and DD leaves a dollar or two...not sure that it's meant to be a tip. :rotfl2:

Maybe lint.

DH empties his own pockets every day before he puts his pants in the hamper.

If he didn't do it himself I'd probably find some pocket change, a bunch of keys, and maybe a receipt from the grocery store. Not too much.

wire nuts, little light bulbs, small screwdrivers, screws, ear plugs, gum wrappers, cigarettes, lighters and if I'm lucky ~ money! The rule is, whatever money I find I the laundry becomes mine...doesn't matter how much it is ~ could be ten cents or $50. If I find in the laundry, I own it. Needless to say, after I found about $100 over the course of two weeks, DH has been better about taking the money out of his pockets :rotfl:

DH leaves those plastic tooth flossers in his pockets, along with receipts and change. Not too long ago I washed an info guide from US/IOA. DD is notorious for chap stick, which is often washed and dried before making it's presence known. :furious: I did wash and dry a tube of my own lipstick once, man what a mess!

In DH's pockets...always tooth picks (YUCK) and pencils and flagging (marking) tape (surveyor) and he always leaves his white hanky (YUCK)!!

Both DS' are away at college...but when they lived at home...I had no rule about money at all...so I would leave any and all money on the dryer and if it was not claimed in a week it became MINE. Many times a DS would say that he had a $5.00 or $10.00 bill in his pocket and I would say, look on the dryer.

Pretty soon I will have my own workshop full of screws and missing parts from his pants. Could possibly build something one day from the parts and pieces :lmao:

When I find money, I just see it as tip :rotfl: Hey wait a minute, he's getting off cheap :scratchin

Rubber gloves, heart monitor paper, pens, penlight, and money. Any money found is mine. Hubby is a paramedic.

:laundy: I don't find anything...because he does the laundry :teeth:

I hate to think about what he finds in mine. Excuse me, I have some pockets to empty.

Nothing because I've trained him well. :teeth:

:thumbsup2 me too!

I don't empty pockets. But any shiny clean money I find that falls out into the washer or in the dryer is mine, all mine!!!

Dh emptys his own pockets. Usually its my own tissues. I hate that! DSS is known for leaving gum or candy in his pockets. The first time that happened I started washing his stuff by itself.
