What do you eat for breakfast?

It was proven a while ago that eating whole eggs has no effect on cholesterol. I eat eggs almost every day, either scrambled or hard boiled, as part of a low carb diet. I do sometimes add veggies - onions, peppers, mushrooms, This is one myth that just won't go away.

From the mayo clinic -
Chicken eggs are high in cholesterol, but the effect of egg consumption on blood cholesterol is minimal when compared with the effect of trans fats and saturated fats.

The risk of heart disease may be more closely tied to the foods that accompany the eggs in a traditional American breakfast — such as the sodium in the bacon, sausages and ham, and the saturated fat or oils with trans fats used to fry the eggs and the hash browns.

Most healthy people can eat up to seven eggs a week with no increase in their risk of heart disease. Some studies have shown that this level of egg consumption may actually prevent some types of strokes.

The only time I eat "breakfast foods" for breakfast is when we go out to eat or have "breakfast" for dinner. I eat whatever sounds good when I'm hungry, most of the time it's leftovers.

Is he on a gluten/grain free diet? I would google gluten free breakfast. I make muffins, breads etc. with almond four. Don't be afraid of eggs and cholesterol, I think they de-bunked that a while ago.

Wow OP that stinks I feel for your DH. I don't like egg's so I'd really be up a creek if I had to eat like him. I can't offer you any help just my condolences. I eat Greek yogurt with granola most days.
