I read somewhere that 10% of all photos taken in the US are taken at WDW. I account for about 2% of that. What do you do with your photos? I make photo albums using Microsoft Picture It 2002 for my digital photos. I print on 8 1/2 x 11" with 1 to 4 pics per page, add Disney Clipart, borders, and text (e.g. "Paging Mr. Morrow..." next to TTA pics).

I'd like to update my software or try new software if there is something better out there. I'd also like to make slide shows with music, etc that can be viewed on TV. I have DVD +R capability, but not the best software for that.

Any suggestions?

I put mine up on ofoto.com for my family and friends to see. I also made a mouse pad out of a photo that was taken of me and Snow White. And I did a ccol thing for my great aunt (age 84). In Nov, I went to WDW with my cousins, after getting home and joining ofoto, I made a calendar for her out of photos we took at WDW for Christmas. She loved it!

I had loaded them onto my computer a use them for my screen saver, I usally take between 200-300 photos so we get a lot to choose from :cool1:

Scrp, scrap scrap. My WDW books are the only ones up to date!

I have WDW photo albums, and I also share the pictures via o-photo.

The reality is that my wife does the scrapbooks. She is almost done with our last trip, just in time to make a new one for this summers trip.

You're not one of those horrible husbands that won't take your family to WDW until the last vacation is scrapped, are you??? :scared1: (just kidding ;))

I do the scrapbook, DH does the slide show with music that goes on the end of our vacation DVD, plus he sets up our web page. All of our cameras now are digital, so DH has a blast with all the digital stuff. I print off the pictures I want for the scrapbook. We also use the pictures for screen savers, we have picture frames around the house, I've made a calendar for my desk at work, we use those pictures a lot!

I guess my choice would be 'other'. For Christmas I made a DVD of photos with appropriate Disney music and gave copies to all my family. They really enjoyed it since it showed my neices and nephew during all our trips. The youngest is a senior in high school now so it was fun to look back.

Oops ... sorry Tooneric, I forgot to mention that I use Ulead to create DVDs. It's easy to use and has some nice special effects.

Too bad you couldn't vote for more then one, I do a bit of each. We swicthed to digital so yes they are on the computer. I order prints from winkflash. I do scrap books, (it takes me a while). They also sit in boxes.

I found another alterntive I like. http://mypublisher.com/default.php

It takes a few hours to put a book together, but much less time then a scrap book.

I make dvd movies and weave them into them.. I use Final Cut Pro - but if youre a beginner and use a Mac try iMovie - very simple :wave2:

I have a scrapbook album that I do a two page spread for each trip we take. It is my pride and joy! I even went back and found old pics of hubby and I as kids at WDW and did a layout for the front page. I plan to scrap our anniversary trip this weekend. It was getting too much putting everything in albums. It took a few months going back thru past trips when I decided to organize an album. I put the best pics on the layout and the rest get filed in a photo box. I still use my hubby's camera. I tried to switch to digital, but the quality just isn't the same.

We have mac computers, so DH uses iMovie and Final Cut Express. Easy to use, lots of creative options. He gets lots of comments on "how did you do that?" :earsgirl:

The older ones have been scanned and those and the new ones, I burn to a CD and they'll just sit around until I can figure out how to make them into a screen saver.
I regret having shown DW how to delete pictures off the digital camera. Now she deletes any pictures of here that aren't "good enough". She erased a whole card that I was taking of just kids having meltdown problems in MK (The happiest place on earth) :rolleyes1
