This maybe a silly question, but I was wondering what do you do with your passports while you are visiting the parks? Do you bring them with you or do you keep them in the room safe.
Like Scratch - all our important papers are left in the room safe. The key to the safe is pinned in the bottom of whatever bag we carry into the park so it doesn't get dropped by mistake.
I guess it makes sense not to carry non-disney-most-important-stuff around. I'll just stick with the autograph books and the portable fans (going in August)...
Given that back in 2001 our van was broken into at Disney and our gas money that I always kept in the glove compartment was stolen, I would never leave anything in my glove compartment again ... even locked. And we didn't know the van had been broken into until I went shopping one evening and stopped to get gas. It was Disney security that could show us a tear in our weatherstripping around the window that happened when the thief had used some sort of slim-jim on it.
I agree that everything important should go into the room safe.
