What do you do with your DSLR when riding rides at WDW?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to bring my DSLR with me on our trip in a couple of weeks. I don't mind carrying it around, but I'm not sure what I would do with it on, say, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster or Space Mountain, etc. Any tips?

You put them in your bag/backpack and store that at your feet :) I usually put a leg through a strap so it's a bit more secure. I was very weary that you have to take your bag with you, especially because of the loops - other parks won't even allow you glasses on their coasters. Didn't have a problem though at all. There'll be people here who will tell you they even kept their DSLRs out on coasters that go upside down to take pics. I'd be too chicken to do that. I admit though I did keep it out in BTMRR and EE to take pics while on the ride :)

Or you can rent a locker or leave it with a non-rider.

That's not exactly what I did. ;) But I usually just wrap the strap around my wrist and hold the camera in my lap.

My camera is always out, so I just hang onto it. My bag goes on the floor, wedged in with my leg through the strap.

If I don't place it in my bag and put the bag in the net or on the floor I sometimes leave it on my neck strap and zip my jacket closed. That keeps it relatively safe.

I keep my camera in a messenger style bag and just put that on the floor near my feet.

Unless I'm going on a water ride... Then I'll usually find a locker :)
