What do you do, whilst back home, to keep you feeling connected to Florida?

I listen daily to WMMO radio, used to watch the live WESH NBC news feed ,have a read of the Orlando Sentinel and obviously visit here.

It's the looking forward that keeps the daily working grind bearable.

On my Yahoo home page I have the weather for Derby and Orlando so I can keep my eye on sunnier climates. I also look through our holiday pics from previous holidays and come on the DIS.

Visit DIS boards everyday, listen to DIS unplugged, talk to my equally DIS obsessed DD about our next trip and send up a little prayer of thanks to a lovely aunt who left me enough money to buy my precious 100 DVC points

Visit the dis, visit the disney websites listen to the WMMO radio, plan my next trips, look at all the photos from past trips, I to have the orlando weather set on my home page and don't even bother with my hometown. In my head im constantly in WDW, oh I also watch rides/firework footage etc on youtube and my video camera.

Well we were lucky enough to take a hd camcorder, so nearly every day I watch the videos on the PS3.

Faves are driving into KSC.
Watching people just mulling around the Magic Kingdom.

Best of all or worst of all is my mate just got a new car and when you get in it, it smelss exactly like the hire cars in Florida when you get in, just brings it all back straght away .....

DW has the Florida weather widget on her desktop.
I like to do video editing so am always playing around with our clips from all our trips. We also like to play at running our own website so have lots of small clips and pics on there from our trips (feel free to have a look - link is at the bottom ) Our dining room has also been converted into a bit of a Florida shrine, with pics, posters and momentos covering the walls (not to mention DWs 100+ Tigger mugs in their cabinets) and it always invokes a comment from whoever visits.

I also find that even if I am not thinking about Florida I always see something that takes me back. Whether its a 'hidden Mickey', a smell or taste, or a song that we last heard in the hire car when we were on our way to MK.

Visit here, have the computer set up to show screensaver photos of Orlando holidays, set wallpaper to change to another photo from Orlando every 15 minutes, have two digital photo frames displaying holiday photos. I especially enjoy reading trip reports as they remind you of your own trip and you pick up tips for your next trip. I also talk to the family but usually they don't get enthusiastic till nearer the time so it is nice to come on here and chat about it.

we listen to our fav radio station out there on the net and our desktop is set up to show the weather in orlando!

And of course hourly visits here!!

I go on maps.live.com (msn) and look at birds eye view pictures of my favourite places - they've recently added the area where my mum and dads house is. Its really geeky that I get excited about seeing our local Walmart

Also google streetview is quite fun although they don't have much of WDW on it - you can "drive" under the Welcome arch tho!

I like online radio stations too - particularly ones that play a lot of park background music as its not too distracting at work. The other day I had DIS radio on whilst i was doing a really boring spreadsheet and it was fab listening to Epcot stuff! My parents like a station called W-DUV so they have that on their computer.

Oh and of course to feel really connected to Florida I spend my free time planning my next trip!!!!
