What do you do when you wait in line?

Just received our "Disney Queue Line Survival Guide" today from Amazon, and we expect to put it to good use in Aug. !!

listen to my mp3 player, talk about what i want to do next with my grandparents and brother. look through the pics ive taken. call friends and say "hey, what are your doing? Oh, me? Not much im just at disney world!":rotfl:
trade/look at pins

lots.
have a blasty blast :goodvibes

I usually look for hot girls and try not to make them uncomfortable by staring.:confused3 What, you asked.
Scott

I usually light up a big, fat cigar and start flicking ashes on the people around me, casually burning small children in the process.

No, not really!

I usually talk to DW, look at the line queue theming, and watch the loading/unloading process (what can I say, I like figuring out how many more doom buggies/cars/rockets/whatever will go by before it's our turn! ).

We usually take it as a time to snack. We have a snack back pack, that has trailmix, and granola bars, nothing messy. That way we dont waste time sitting to snack!:lmao:

We're tech geeks.
1) Play scrabble on phone
2) Play trivial pursuit on phone
3) watch tv on phone
4) listen to music on phone
5) play mini-golf on phone
6) take pictures of strange things using phone

Do you sense a running theme here? Can't wait for the iPhone to come out!! :surfweb:

I like to pull out the park map and do some planning. I'll even get out a pen and circle things we still want to do. Then I'll show it all to DH and get his input.

We also like to talk to people around us. If DS8 finds another kid nearby, he'll make an instant friend and talk up a storm! In line for Star Tours, DS8 found another young Star Wars freak and they discussed the movies, characters, etc. while we waited. When we got to the front of the line, the 2boys announced, "We're friends and we want to ride together!" Friends? After 20 minutes? Gotta love kids!!!!!:)

We have Rock, Paper, Scissors championships. So if you are there in June and see a mother/daughter (8 years old) playing Rock, Paper Scissors, it could be us. It was fun in October we waited forever at Pop Century for the but to DTD one night and even DH got into playing with us. The people in line around us were having fun watching and cheering us on.

Does anyone ever try to start a sing-a-long? I usually whistle (I'm an excellent whistler! :rolleyes1 and occasionally someone will start singing the lyrics. But then I stop because my family gives me dirty looks and I feel embarrassed. But I wonder if I should just go with it and start the sing-a-long!

Patty (11 days til POFQ, but first a cruise to the Bahamas!) :yay:
