What do you do for pjs? How many?

We are going for 10 nights- thats a lot of pjs! I started by packing 5 pairs, then realized how much space they take up. We will not be doing laundry during our trip. How many pjs do you bring, or do you just bring extra t's? This is the first year I was going to actually bring pj shorts sets instead of a few extra large t's. Maybe I should go back to the old way. What do you think?

When we go to WDW for 10 days I usually bring 2 or 3 pairs of PJs. The reason being is that I am only sleeping in them and I usually take a shower before bed and then I nice and clean everynight to go to sleep and then in the morning I'm ready fast. No shower!!

I usually just sleep in whatever tshirt that I had on the day and then I shower and change in the morning.

You could always just sleep in the ... , very easy to pack for that

Is this for you are your child? Personally, for me I wear the same pajamas more than once...I mean how dirty do you get in your sleep? For my child, I would bring 5 pairs. One pair to last two nights. I always bathe her at night anyway, so she is clean when I put her in them and then I take them off first thing in the morning...so no big deal. That's just me. If it were only me I was worrying about I'd only bring 2 pair. Of course, I just can't imagine bringing (or having) enough clothes to last 10 days without doing laundry!

Well, it depends on who is sharing the room with you. If kids are going to be there, you might want to bring some. I don't have kids yet soo...I don't tend to back any at all.

I usually just sleep in the shirt I wore that day if it's not too icky, or a big tshirt. So I might pack 3-4 extra tees in case, and one pair of pajama bottoms to lounge in, and one pair of pajama shorts. I don't sleep in bottoms

PJs do take up alot of room, but I think you can easily wear them more than a day or two... or more. Esp if you shower at night.

I have 1 tshirt and 1 pj bottoms for bed. That's it. That'll last me for 5 days and then I do laundry.

When I go for 10 days, I definitely do laundry. I hate lugging that many clothes. Way too much and too heavy.

The rule of thumb I always use during travelling is to take 1/2 the clothes you think you'll need and take twice the money you think you'll need.

Plus, no matter where I go, I always end up buying at least one piece of clothing!

It looks like you are leaving shortly and it is still very hot and humid down here.........that means you may have to change clothes a couple of times a day, I would agree with some of the other posters and just plan on doing a load or two of laundry instead of hauling all those clothes for 10 days, heck it only takes about an hour and you can do it while the kids are enjoying the pool. To me it is easier just to do a wash even after 5 days then trying to lug all those clothes and then haul back 10 days of dirty laundry to boot.

10 day trips, I always do laundry. I tried packing enough for the whole trip w/out doing wash once & it was awful - too much stuff!I bring myself a couple of those laundry detergent tabs & a couple dryer sheets & throw a load in while I'm at the pool - run over & switch them to dryers & go back to the pool til they're done. Hardly interferes with vacation at all.

I would pack 3 pairs PJ's for 10 days - but since I plan on doing wash now for my longer trips(anything over 5-6 days), 2 pairs....

We're going for 11 nights & I'm packing 3 pairs of pj's. I'll end up showering or at least washing up every night before bed. It's way too hot & sticky when we're going to wear the same clothes to bed that were worn in the hot, muggy parks all day. We'll be packing enough clothes for our entire trip. When on vacation I definitely don't want to be doing laundry. One of the things I love about staying at WDW - no driving, no cooking, no cleaning, and no laundry! I like to be away from all of our day-to-day duties, in our own little "world."

I envy you a little! I cant go more than 3 days max without washing clothes on vacation. I always do at least one load of wash. Which turns out well, as this way DH and I fit all our clothes in one big suit case, and DD uses a smaller one. I HATE the idea of 10 days worth of sweaty smelly clothes comming home with me

If we are flying (which we are) we always pack for half the trip and then do laundry mid trip, just want too much to bring otherwise. I bring generally bring three or four nightgowns enough to last for five or so nights....It is way too hot for me to sleep in a t-shirt I wore during the day, they go right into the dirty laundry bag as soon as I get back to the room. I like to bathe and sleep in a nice clean t-shirt or nighttgown.....

I only pack 2 pair of pj's per person. We always do laundry mid-way during our vacations which are usually 10 days long. During one of our "down" days, while the kids are playing in the pool, I just throw in 3 loads, sit by the pool, go back to switch to dryers, hang at the pool again, everyone goes back with me to help fold (gets done REAL quick that way!) and carry back to room. That way I only have to pack for 5 days at a time. With five of us, there's NO way I could pack enough clothing for 10 days! I don't even think I have that much luggage!!

Two pairs for our recent 10 day trip. I usually never was, but this year we did (we had two washers/dryers in our unit) and during Charley's afternoon day we actually were able to do two loads and went home with one full suitcase of clean clothes! How nice it was when we got home - not much wash to do at all.

For ten day trips I pack at least two pairs of pajamas for everyone, that way we have one pair of "extra" jams in case of an accidental spill.

I always do laundry the night before our last day. That way I am only packing clean clothes. There is nothing more depressing than coming home from vacation, and having two weeks of clothes to wash.

I couldn't bear the thought of doing ten days worth of laundry once we get back home - returning from vacation is depressing enough!!

I pack two pairs for my DD & I - the boys sleep in their boxers!

I'm a night owl so I usually do laundry at night after I've gotten every one to bed. Like I'm doing right now!
