We intend on eating lunch dinner and snack but have to figure out breakfasts. Son isn't a huge breakfast eater but doesn't care for a sweet breakfast.

What do you do for breakfast that doesn't cost an arm and leg? What does a park breakfast usually run? Ds is 12.

THANKS!

Mine isn't too fond of breakfast either so we just bring what he likes and eat in the room or on the way over to the park.

You could use some of your snacks for breakfast. At our hotel food court, one snack could be used for cereal & milk, muffins, bagels, or pastries. I know that the Bakery at MK also has many snack options that would suffice for breakfast.
Or, you could always pack cereal bars/granola bars and save your snacks for later in the day.

eat at your resort food court...lots of breakfast choices including basics like oatmeal or cereal & milk. A croissant or bagel would be under $3. If you're looking for a hot breakfast, a typical adult breakfast platter with eggs/bacon/potatoes will run about $6 or $7. Hubby loved the plate of biscuits & gravy for $3.50 at POFQ...believe that's available at other food courts too. He could get toast & a side of sausage for about $3. Or fresh fruit...

Which resort are you staying at? This is the breakfast menu from Port Orleans Riverside, many of the items are pretty much standard with all resorts except Riverside mill food court has the made to order omlet and the bounty platter not found in some of the other resorts. Many of the baked items can be purchased with the snack credit.

We usually pick up something from the grocery area of the gift shop. Bagels, bread, cereal, milk, juice etc. It sometimes runs cheaper than buying in the food court.

We stay in a DVC so we have a toaster, etc., in the room (or full kitchen). You can toast your own bread or use the microwave in most of the food courts if none in the room.

We like to eat this way in the mornings as it's quicker than trying to get everyone up and out for a TS breakfast.

We almost always use our CS credit for breakfast - either at the food court at our resort or somewhere in the park, like at Sunshine Seasons or at the Main Street Bakery.

Then we use our snack credits to get things to tide us over in the middle of the day, until we have a big dinner with our TS credit at night.

We normally take things to have in the room but there were a few mornings that we ran over to the food court and grabed something quick. My son fell in love with the fresh fruit cups there so he had that a few times. We stayed at POR and they had lots of things to choose from, but so do the other resorts.

We also tend to eat lunch early, like right at 11:00 to beat the crowds, so a lite breakfast is fine for my group. :)

What DH and I do is buy one breakfast at the resort (POP) and split it. It is enough to tide us over until lunch, we usually eat an early lunch. Then use our CS for lunch and TS for dinner.

Occasionally we will spend a snack credit on brkfst but usually only once.

We usually bring granola bars with us for breakfast and eat them on the way to the parks. No one in our family is much of a breakfast eater. We tend to eat an early lunch. Somedays we did use snack credits for breakfast and there were days when we had saved a dessert from lunch or dinner the day before ( those apple pie thingys- not sure what they are called). For us even the basic plan was too much food. With desserts included in lunch and dinner we hardly use our snack credits so we had plenty.

We rarely use QS credits for breakfasts, and when we do, we will often get 1 or 2 platters and take it/them back to our room to share while we get ready. You can indeed just do a pastry or something front the grab-n-go, but if your son is not big on sweet breakfasts, perhaps getting him a kids meal will do the trick. My wife often orders a kids breakfast because she doesn't eat a lot at breakfast. They also have the advantage of not being to hard on the wallet for OOP meals.

You could grab someting at the Food Court Bakery or at the MK bakery. They have some good stuff there.

We would usually get a breakfast platter with one CS credit and share it. We share a lot of meals at Disney and it works out for us well.

I usually get a bagel & milk for breakfast. It def fills u til lunch & its cheap.

WE bring food down with us on the plane...cereal, bagels, muffins...and we get OJ or Milk from the food court using snack creidts (or cash). We bring a portable cooler and buy the 1/2 gallon of milk, and keep the cooler packed with ice. While I love breakfast, i can't see wasting TS or QS credits on a meal that is the lowest cost meals.

We use our snack credits for breakfast right when the food court opens in the morning--muffins, bagels, etc.--and then usually use our refillable mug or buy a bottled water for a drink. It also helps that we use our CS for lunch early, usually around 11.

We throw granola bars, PB crackers, Pop Tarts, and cereal into our luggage. We buy milk at the resort. The only breakfast we use credits on are the character buffets.

My family most often has breakfast at the resort counter service location. I usually use snack credits for things like cereal, pastries, and milk. I will pay OOP if we are in the mood for the breakfast platters that includes eggs, pancakes, etc.

We bring muffins and granola bars for the room. We don't normally eat big breakfasts unless it's more of a "brunch", so that's perfect for us. We have gone to the food court at POP a couple of times for yogurt, fruit cups, etc. We managed to have one QS credit each left over last trip, so we used it on our departure day for breakfast in the food court (it was delicious, btw).

Count us in the bring it with you camp! I pack pop tarts, granola bars, cereal bars, honey buns, etc to keep in the room. We drive down so I even pack milk in the cooler.
