What do you do for a living?

I am a behavior therapist for children with autism and special needs. What I love about my job is all of the amazing people I work with . What I dislike about my job is the schedule- long hours !:(

I am a Family Support Specialist or a case worker for Department of Human Services.

I am a SAHM...have been for 10 years...(1/3rd of my life.) Before that I was in college.

NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I retired today!!!!!! Yay for me!

I'm a "wall jockey" as we like to say at work :p

Actually, I work at a Network Operation Center. We monitor and troubleshoot voice and data networks for some very large accounts (CVS, 7-Eleven, Bank One, The Buckle, Diesel jeans, Speedway, Hops, etc....). I do a lot of explaining to people how to reset their routers and opening tickets with AT&T as well as other stuff

I have the power to bring down various credit card networks if I desired :p :p and if I felt like getting screamed at LOL

My job's ok. I like the people I work with and the work is challenging. I don't like the micromanaging that goes on and the constant worrying about layoffs because the industry is not good. We're a 24hr/365 day center, so someone always has to work the holidays and we're usually short staffed. That's hard.

I'm also a part time history major working on my goal of being a museum curator or working for an auction house like Sotheby's

I work in retail sales. The first actual job I've had in many years. The pay is awful, but I enjoy the people, and the work. :)

I am a Secretary for an Administrator at a High School.

What I like about my job - My boss is very nice . . .we get along and work together well. Working in a High School keeps me young at heart and up to speed with how teenagers are nowadays. :p

What I hate about my job - Having to be at work at 7:15 am. It is very tough on me now . . .going on 36 and I'm not a morning person at all. Especially when we "fall back" I can hardly get myself out of bed. I always wanted to be a SAHM, but unfortunately we weren't able to afford to do that. DD is almost 14 and DS will be 10 on 7/6 and they don't need me at home in the am anymore.

I work for a 24hr company providing repairs and maintenance to retail chain stores nationwide. I am the Supervisor of Offiste Operations (from 6m to 8am EST w all work from home) . I have a staff of 6. I have been with the company for 15 years and working from home for 10.

I'm a Sr. Distribution Supervisor for the electrical end of an Electric and Gas utility. It's kind of like being the "air traffic controler" for the electrical distribution system. I work a rotating shift with five others and sometimes that's good, sometimes it's a real pain, but I should be retiring sometime in the near future.

For fun, I'm also a musician playing with several local bands. I play trumpet with the local concert band and whatever other gigs come up and bass guitar with a swing band, a jazz band, and other gigs that come my way. I also play guitar and played that for the first time in years this past weekend. This is what keeps me off the streets and out of trouble... well, off the streets, anyhow. Hope to do more of this when I retire.
