What do you carry with you?

My kids are older now and I was excited to not need so much "stuff".

In my mind, I was thinking with everything being linked thru MDE and magic bands, I'd only be needing my magicband, ID, phone, water bottle and hand sanitizer. Yay me.

But now I've bought DVC and an AP, so I guess I'll need my AP, my blue card and remembered I probably will still want my Disney Visa in case there's a discount or something to use. Ugh.

For minimalists, what's the least you bring? Am I missing anything or bringing anything I don't need?

There may be weather related items (extra sunscreen, a poncho, a jacket....). I get that, but I mean "must haves" for basically everytime you leave the resort.....

Sun glasses, hat. We go in January so we bring jackets and sweaters too.

Aside from anything extra for the weather just my AP & DVC cards, ID, cash, phone, & Magic Band.

I have a list but you've about got it covered. I would add my insurance card, some cash, a ziploc bag for the phone in case of rain, bandaids/mole skin, and some Advil.

I carry my Magic Band and my phone. I bought a phone case that holds three cards, so I carry my ID, my DVC Card, and my annual pass. You could switch out the DVC card for your credit card and just use the digital DVC card. I have this case and I love it:

It’s so nice to not carry anything. When I do carry something, it’s a small purse that holds a battery and several cables for recharging our phones.

Ha, ha, ha ... I am so very, very far from ever being a minimalist! I haul in way to much ... even when I try my darnedest to pare it down for 'security' sake. Oh, my. Someday? Maybe? Nah. Never.

I still carry my regular purse, a shoulder bag, only extra item is a small soda. Just not worth the time to pack a separate bag for a park.

I do wish there was a separate security check line for guests with strollers, might speed things up a bit.

When we go on "date night" without kids, I often bring just a wristlet or stuff everything in my pin purse: phone, blue DVC card, AP/TIW cards, photo ID and $20 cash (in case there's a MB problem). This is usually in the evenings, and we've been lucky without needing ponchos.

Only additional stuff might be ponchos and/or a sweater or wrap in case it gets cold.

Shoot a pic of your DVC and AP cards with your phone in case you misplace the cards. I always carry a $20, $50, or $100 bill with me, just in case my magic band stops working.

I stick everything in my husband's cargo shorts pockets. I agree with most, id, magic band, phone, hat....but I didn't see this....I am Irish and have to bring that travel tube of sunscreen (which of course fits in a pocket)....and apply it every 5 minutes LOL!

All I bring is my cellphone and a Vera Bradley lanyard with ID holder thing to carry ID, DVC card, TiW card, AP card and Disney Visa. I have the puck out of my MB and on one of those hook things that I hook it to my lanyard. I also keep a bandaid and lactaid in the ID holder and a tissue in my pocket.

I bought it specifically for Disney, but I use it all the time in real life. I’ve had it for over a year now. Works great and I never carry a purse around in real life either.
