I am trying to buy little surprises for our trip and I want to get each of the girls one of those things that spin around on the top and lite up, you might use these at a parade. We have a buzz one that we got on our last trip that spins on the top when you squeeze his legs together. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I would like to search for them on Ebay.

I call them "spinny thingys" as well, but did a successful ebay search using the term "Disney light chaser".

HTH!

Wait, what... they're NOT called "spinny thingys?"

We got a Belle one for my niece while at DL; it was a hit. But yeah, they're spendy!

Edit: was just looking myself; "Disney spinner toys" pulled up a bunch, too.

Just wondering how much these spinner toys cost at the parks? I am not finding any on ebay that would cost less than $19 (including shipping), are they really that much more at the parks?

I think $19 is about what you would spend in the park. Doesn't look like they are much cheaper on e-bay. I checked out the Disney store over the weekend, hoping for a sale but no luck.

I guess I will just have to keep watching and hope I find a couple.

I did find one buy it now for $11 shipped. Maybe I should jump on that while I have the chance.

I personally just call them spinny things, that can become caught in your hair, and make it look like you just did not spend hours at the salon! ;) he he! oh, don't get them near any long hair cats either, that is how I ended up with my Tommy cat! ;)

$19 is *way* more than they cost at the parks.

$11 shipped is good, but with $19 you should just buy the child's choice at the parks!

there $15 each at the parks. Tax is included.

Got Tinkerbell, Buzz, Cinderella, and Mickey. :)

Thank you. That is exactly what I knew someone would be able to tell me. Now I can make the decision if I should pick them up ahead of time or just let the 2 little ones get the ones of their choosing.

$15 sounds about right for in the park.

Last year I bought light spinners on disneyoutlet.com for $2.99. They were buzz in a spaceship and the front propellers spun and lighted up. We still have them. They had a big selection then. I checked yesterday and none.

If you keep your eye out at the Disney store you are bound to find something there and on sale. We got a whole pirates set with a light up and sound sword that can extend or contract like a light saber, hancuffs, a click and light gun and a few other things, normally was $25ish and we got them for $4.99.

The boys are very much into seeing something now and picking their own out. So we will let them get theirs at DL.

I'm glad someone was able to answer your questions!

btw - we use the full, formal name for them which is "light-up spinny thingys!" :rotfl:
