what do you buy at the store?

For a first timer, please give me some ideas on what to buy at net grocer to have shipped to my room at All Star Movies and what cold items or perishable items I may want to buy at my store run with the towncar. We will be eating breakfast in the room 2 out of 4 days, lunch and most suppers at counter service and 2 sit downs at Sci-Fi and Chef Mickey's

You may want to get the following:

A variety pack of cereals
A loaf of bread or package of bagels and cream cheese
Plastic utensils (unless you plan to get some from the food court at your hotel)
Orange juice or other kind that you like
Bottles of water (they are quite $$$ in the parks)
Some snack items for the evenings like cookies, chips, popcorn, etc.
Cans of soda (unless you're going to get a refillable mug at your resort)
Peanut butter and jelly (in case you do lunch in your room some days or want to bring it to the parks)


We've never planned on eating that much in our room - my DH doesn't like the idea. But I'm sure there are many DISers that have done it and can give you some more suggestions.

To the above I would add disposable bowls for that variety pack of cereal (with my kids, that cereal is a necessity!). We tend to buy some fruit, too, and some little energy snacks like peanuts and raisens for when we're in the parks. We buy lots of water--both jug and individual sports bottles. And don't forget the coffee supplies if your mousekeeping supplies the pot but not the fixings!

Here's a list of a few things we use to bring sorry if they are repeats.

Bottled Water
Chips, dips
Candy bars, gum (no gum sold on property)
cereal
milk
bowls
spoons
straws
pop tarts
nuts

We would bring our cooler and keep the milk and water there, just fill it every couple of days with ice. Mind you we would be there for at least 7 days.

We've been bringing or son since he was 3 weeks old, so if you have a little one, there is a whole other list of things you will need. If you don have a little one, just let me know, I can give you a list of things that you may forget or not even think of to pack.
