What do you bring to sit on?

I read somewhere that the seats for Candlelite Processional and Fantasmic can get pretty cold (are they metal?)

Does anyone bring anything to sit on that is small and portable?

(A friend of mine takes a small bathroom rug but that still seems rather cumbersome to carry around).

Any other suggestions?

Looks like we'll be getting to WDW on the same day...I read a tip about bringing a bath towel. This can be rolled up in a backpack and then folded in 1/2 to sit on.

I think I'll try this. Enjoy!

The seats at Fantasmic really aren't terrible, and the show tends to get your mind off your tushie ;) , but you could either pack around a towel or maybe just have an extra sweatshirt or something that would double as a seat cushion.

Our upcoming trip will be the first time we're stroller-less; we used it mostly as a pack mule last time anyways, but if you've any kids in the group young enough you can always put the padding there for the day.

good luck!

While waiting for Fantasmic two weeks ago, I noticed that people were sitting on small inflatable "pillows".

They were selling them at Fantasmic - at the carts with the glow items.

They are a blow up pillow to sit on. They are red and feature your favorite Disney characters on the front.

The best part - they are only $3.00!! Great souvenir to take home! They fold up easily and don't take up much room! :thumbsup2

yes, they are metal and it's nice to have a little something at least, to sit on. Sometimes I've used an inflatable pillow -- or an extra piece of clothing that I haven't layered with yet.

I have never been bothered by the seats, guess I carry around plenty of my own padding, LOL! If I were going to a ball game or something that would last for hours I would be bothered by having no seat back, but for the length of time that Disney shows last I have never considered it a problem, and we have visited in all seasons and all types of weather.

I was thinking the same thing. This is not the longest show and it should not be an issue. If it is raining then that is another issue.

We usually don't use anything but we have seen others sit on sweatshirts and ponchos. A couple of people brought the foam stadiums seats, usually used for football games, with them.

I've never used it for CP in particular, but one of the things I carry in my backpack in "shoulder" or colder seasons is a pashmina. It can be a wrap, a towel, a blanket or padding for a seat. They fold up very small.

I love the inflatable pillow tip from Fantasmic. I'd like to have one of those for the airplane. I think we might have to grab a couple of those for future use.
