BCV - one bedroom...$406.00 (not including tax) for next June???

I just paid $392 (including tax) for a one bedroom at the AKV...big jump since the new prices came out!!

I'm thinking that is probably about right. And I'm thinking I'm glad I have DVC.

You might take the current one bd. price for BCV and add 2-4% and see what you get. Seems that resort prices tend to go up each year about that much, give or take.

Hmmmm.. just looked on AllEars and they show the 2008 rate for a one bd. room at BCV during June as $495.....

I was also going to say that $406 didn't sound high enough for a 1 BR in June at BCV.

And just to confuse the issue more ... Mousesavers has the 1 BR BCV June 2009 rate at $510.00.

Edited: And AK rates at the same time for a 1BR range from $445 to $525.

$406.00 is with a AAA discount. I will NEVER pay rack rate for a Disney room! I renew AAA each year just to use for my room only ressies for Disney!

If you recently paid $392 for a comparable room at AKL than I think the $406 for BCV in June is pretty reasonable & goes along with normal resort increases. The AAA rate for that room is about 18% off rack rate so that isn't bad and probably better than any AP rate since those haven't been so great in the last two years.

Have you considered renting points from a DVC member? Depending on when in June you are traveling, and what days of the week you are staying, BCV 1 bdrms run as low as $280/nt (based on $10 per point)...plus there's no tax and you can add DDP without a ticket purchase if desired.
