for a family of six planning to have dinner in the parks?which resturants are super and which are the no go.How about within the disney hotels i've heard of a few but which are spectacular and which are crappy :confused3

the only one I can tell you NOT to eat at is Restaurantasaurus in AK.

Other than that, all my meals at WDW have been great.

Sci fi dine in. just back from easter week. Yes, i had read the bad reviews but since ds was dying to eat there we made a ressie. Well, it was the worst meal of my life-dry, overcooked ribs and my chicken sandwich was tasteless, ireally think it wasn;t cooked enough. And the service-horrible. The waitress says oh and brings dh sauce for the ribs. We'll never do this one again.

I have to agree with the reviews on Sci Fi - the atmosphere is cool, but not much else. The same goes for San Angel Inn, in Epcot's Mexico pavilion. I would stay away from there too. Other than that, I've never had a bad dining experience.

In the Magic Kingdom, we like the following table-service restaurants:

Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast or lunch
Crystal Palace for breakfast or lunch
Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner

This year, we're also trying Tony's Town Square for the first time.

For counter-service, we really like Columbia Harbour House. Casey's, Pecos Bill's, & Pinocchio Village Haus also look good.

In Epcot, we haven't found our favorite table-service restaurant yet, but there are so many wonderful options in the World Showcase restaurants. Le Cellier gets rave reviews - we plan to try it next year. This year, we're trying San Angel Inn (a place DH has wanted to try since 1991!). We didn't like our dinner at Akershus last May, but I think the menu has changed a bit since then. Chefs de France, Rose & Crown, & Biergarten are also some places I'd like to try. In Future World, we're trying Garden Grill this year. We plan to try Coral Reef next year.

For counter-service, we liked Sunshine Seasons. Again, so many of the World Showcase counter service places look wonderful! I can't wait to try the France counter service this year!

In MGM, we did NOT like Hollywood & Vine last year at all. This year, we're trying Mama Melrose's for our Fantasmic Dinner Package. For counter-service, we eat at Toy Story Pizza Planet.

In the AK, we love Flame Tree BBQ - it's our favorite counter-service in all of WDW.

For resort restaurants, we like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, 'Ohana at the Poly, & Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Trail's End at Fort Wilderness is good food at a good value. This year, we're trying Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.
