I am so jealous you get to go so often.....We are averaging once every three years so the craving gets pretty intense....

I usually drag out past souvenir books, photo books, and trip pics both old and new. Sometimes I get crazy and pull out the old maps and brochures too.....I mean, I had to keep all that stuff for some reason! :thumbsup2

I go. Last weekend, my son told me around 10pm friday night he wished we could go to DL this weekend, so 10pm reservations made, 2am up and driving, 8am standing on mainsteet.

My DH hopes that if I lie down the feeling will pass:rotfl2: . I go on the DIS, go to the DIsney Store, pop in a disney movie, look at our pictures...... basically anything to do with Disney. If that doesn't work....well I haven't crossed that bridge yet and I am scared to:lmao:

thanks everybody! some greatadvice on these posts.

master mason, u sound like a master father, haha...i tend to do last minute DL trips as well...u have one lucky son.

ya, doing the youtube thing tonight and planning an early DL store trip tomorrow..maybe buy enchanted and a DL dvd.

Im a grown man, work in probation, train and coach MMA (mixed martial arts), but i have a DL addiction! i get teased about it all the time, LOL...i love it!

I am going through serious withdrawals right now!! Not even sure why since we were just there last month, and we'll go again in June. But it can't seem to come fast enough for me. LOL

I think the idea of going to the Disney store is a good one. We have an outlet here, so I might try and do that tomorrow. Thanks!

Everyone's ideas are great! I've done ALL of it  ...not at the same time of course haha, but from the time I started planning our first trip(watched utube, trip reports, disneystore, online disneystore) until now....mostly I just come on here :surfweb: . Look at prices for our next trip and look at my pics....thats a big one for me! I love, love, love my pics!!

I never get tired of planning- the funnest part of it! Make count down activities since it's only 3 weeks away! My kids dress up everyday in princess attire and act out some of the princess stories and we sing/act out the songs from the movies too!

Disney On Ice!!!!! I hadn't been to DL in years until 2006 and after coming back I just couldn't wait to go again, but didn't have $ to start planning a new trip. So about 7 mos. aftyer our '06 trip, I took DD to Disney On Ice and it was fantastic!!!! All the Disney Wonder and Magic just 1 hr drive and only $50 for both of us, including food. It was a great treat.

Have an in house Disney night!

Watch movies, make mickey head cookies and decorate them and maybe do some Karaokee!

Also add arts and crafts, I mean you need LGMH's for your upcoming trip!

- Read MOUSE TALES (book one and two)
- go to the library and check out every disneyland related book
-watch the Travel Network shows about DL/WDW that are airing every Friday night.
-pre-work on a scrapbook you can later fill in with pics of your trip
-collect some pins for your pin lanyard if that floats your boat
-Read HIDDEN MICKEYS
-Plan a disney scavenger hunt for when u are there
-read all related disney msg boards...incl. the Dis of course
-watch DVDs ...all disney of course

Enjoy this time...the trip will be here (and over) before you know it. The anticipation is actually fun!!
