What do to about TA?

My Disney TA is on vacation in Disney World. So I doubt she is able to change tons of ressies. Should I call her? Since I booked a pacakge she doesnt know I am willing to do an AP room only ressie. Or try and book the room myself and transfer it to her? This is my first time to using an TA and of course she isnt around and I have to do the leg work LOL, it is about par for the course. Thanks for any help

I would book the room myself and then transfer it to her. You can always cancel the WDW reservation you make today, if need be and your deposit isn't due for several days. I had a similar situation a few years ago. I went ahead and booked a room at the AP room rate because I was leary about the DU travel agent that I had. That evening I got an e-mail from the travel agent saying that she couldn't get me the AP discount. I found out that she had a day job and worked as a travel agent after work and the rates were gone by the time she got home from her regular job.

I now have trouble giving all control over to a TA. We were staying at the WL for 7 nights and the AP room savings was something like a total of $700.

I E Mailed her boss. I am sure she will do what ever it takes. It just took a long time to find the right E Mail address. Just so you know my message sounded upset. I am not mad at my TA just figures that she is gone now.
