What do they sell at the Scrapbook store in DTD??

Hi Ladies,

Is there anywhere where I can view the stuff they sell at the store in Downtown Disney? I'm trying to decide how much I will leave to buy there...I'm figuring I can "save some money" but stocking up on the CM and Sandylion Disney stuff before I go. But of course I'll have to buy SOMETHING...

I'm planning to start a new album and I figure I can likely fill it with just one trip....I have a serious problem!

No, there's really no place that has all that is sold at DTD. You can check mousememories.com (they have some stuff) and check ebay. But there is nothing online that shows everything they have. It's not that much, but I always come away with lots... LOL!!

Also, remember to think outside the box. You can use charms made for necklaces/bracelets, post cards, keychains. Your imagination is the only limit.

Now, when we were there last (March/April), I didn't find everything I bought at DTD's "scrapbook" store. I found them at various hotel shops, so don't forget to check there.

I took some photos of the stuff in the DD store last October. Some of the photos are a bit blurry but you still get the idea of what's for sale there. You can click on the photo and bring up a very large picture to see the detail.

Cass! OMG! Those photos are great. I can't believe I have to wait over 7 months to go. Granted, it's better than the 10 months waiting when I first booked out trip, but I sure would like to go there now. lol.

I hope that you won't be disappointed in the store! It doesn't sell much more than you can buy at all the other stores at WDW. I really think that Disney could do MUCH better with their scrapbooking supplies. You can do better with on-line sites. But it IS fun to walk around. The art work on the other side of the store is quite nice.

We just got back and I bought the 2004 scrapbook at the store in MGM. I also bought the castle punch, some autograph stickers, and wdw tape. Not to start anything, but I got tired of seeing all the Tinkerbell stuff...she must be THE character this year..

Lucky you to get the 2004 scrapbook (did you get the fireworks, or the Pooh one?) We were there the end of March, and I saw the fireworks one, decided I was going to get it, but I'd wait until the day before we left. Well, just my luck, I couldn't find the book anywhere! I had seen it at the gift shop at our resort (CSR), but it was gone there too. When I asked a CM, she said they were on backorder! When I got home I contacted WDW Merchandise, and had to order it, but it's still backordered until next month some time I'm itching to get started on our vacation pictures.

I was disappointed in the store at DD, I think I saw more at our resort! But it was a start for Disney. Hopefully, they will get the message, and bring in more of the good stuff!
