Does anyone know what they charge if you are a single adult staying in the room alone? Do they charge more? A premium for being only one person in a room? Thanks!

You aren't charged more as a single person at WDW. You just pay the same room rate as a family of 4 ( or 5 if it's a deluxe) but there's no "double occupancy rate". If you book a package you would only be paying for a ticket for one guest and/or dining for one guest. ---Kathy

We just booked room with that same scenerio in part of our group. The rates came out and you pay for double occupancy. So, the room for the 1 person was the same as the room that had 2 people in it.

This is not quite clear..

Single or double adult occupancy is the same rate.

Additional ADULTS in the room beyond 2 have an additional charge per night associated.

10$ - Values
15$ - Moderates
25$ - Deluxe

Those charges are per extra adult / per night.

A family of four can stay for the same rate as two adults providing the two children are not older than 17.

Hope that's clear.

I book all the time for just myself. The room rate for just one person is the same .

Thanks! my mom is coming with us but wants her own room and we were not sure if she would have to pay more since she is single. You guys are great!!
