I read on someone's review that at 'Ohana they sing happy anniversery to you. Do other restaurants do stuff like that also?

This is what happened to us in terms of restaurants.
We wore mickey and minnie bride and groom heads the whole week.
In Canada we got a free dessert even though we explained that that particular day was not the actual date.
In Cindys castle our ta had marked on the ps that it was our anniversary(it was the actual day) and we got: a table sprinkled with pixie dust, a certificate and a very nice surprise only given to those celebrating an anniversary or honeymoon (this was before they changed to a character dinner) Afterward Cindy was downstairs and had a CM try to find Prince Charming who had just left so we could all get our picture taken together.
At Boma: we made our ps (ADRs now) at guest relations where theCM was earning her ears. She saw our pins and wanted to put it on the PS. I explained it wasn't the actual day of our anniversary, but she was excited to get to do it and her trainer okayed it. We got: special chocolate desserts with happy anniversary written in chocolate, a song from our server and a card with best wishes and such written in the different languages of the CMs with translations.
Those were our only sit down meals that week and we got something each time!!
We also had the security lines stopped at MK so everyone could congratulate us thanks to a security guard that noticed our pins. It was fun and felt like everyone was celebrating with us. CMs would ask if we were on our honeymoon because of the bride and groom pins and we said YES our 24th!!!
They seemed to love that
We honestly weren't expecting anything so it was a wonderful suprise each time.

You can't go expecting something. Sometimes they will do it, but sometimes they won't. We got free wine glasses at CRT, special placemats and lot of attention at chef mickey's, congrats pictures in our hotel from mickey and minnie and lots of comments from guests in the park. We also got put on the spot by a security guard. he's a big guy that we always see in front of MK. He stopped and shouted our names and our wedding date to everyone in the front.
Good Luck! Wear some pins and maybe hte wedding ears. You'll be surprised at all the magical things that may happen!

I'm not expecting to get anything, BUT if something "wilder" might happen, I wanna know so I can be prepared! When I told my boyfriend about what might happen at 'Ohana, his reply was "Well, I better have a beer in my hand."

Our ADRs are for 'Ohana, Sci-Fi, WCC (this one I'm really scares me), Le Cellier, and Boma.

Where do you get the pins at?

You can pick Magical Moments buttons up at Guest Relations. I picked up a pair during our last anniversary trip at Guest Relations just in front of MK (at the same time I activated my AP). We got several inquiries and anniversary wishes from CMs around the parks.

We went on an Illuminations Cruise(I paid for the boat to be decorated as a suprise for my DH)...after the boatride, my kids and friends of ours wanted to take the ballons and go to Beaches and Cream for Icecream to celebrate(3A and 5 kids). We finally got a seat and put our balloons near us on the jukebox. Twayla(sp) was our waitress...and as she was taking our order she kept trying to read our balloons. When they brought out the Kitchen Sink everyone sang Happy Anniversary!!! It was very sweet! :thumbsup2

Once when we dined at WCC, one of the servers found out that there was an anniversary couple at one of his tables. He got the couple up, lassoed them, tied them together and then made them kiss in front of the whole restaurant. The rest of the diners were asked to sing "Happy Anniversary" (like Happy Birthday) to them.

My question is, are there other places to get the buttons? We will not be at MK until 4 days into our trip. It's our 25th anniversary and the buttons would be really neat.

At Boma in '03, I mentioned it on the sly to our CM with the intent of paying for it. She told a chef who made up something for us at no charge, of course. It was a round stone (pizza sized) with candies and confections and "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. Nice touch. I'll see if I can post a pic tonight.

You can note your anniversary on your restaurant adr's, but don't expect anything special to be done. They don't automatically do things for every special occasion being celebrated at disney. Just go to enjoy a meal for the two of you and if something special happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't. I definately wouldn't be expecting anything unless you arrange and pay for it in advance.

I would assume you could get them at any of the Guest Relations; there is at least one at each park (maybe more :confused3 ).

I wonder if you can get them at your hotel.
