I am just wondering. We had several heading our way and thankfully they look like they will pass us by, but I was preparing this week for anything (and still am watching out) and one of the things I am just not sure about is my goat.
. We have a bunch of animals and I know the smaller ones like the fish, bird and guinea pig we would keep with us during a storm. Now my dogs I would either keep with us in the house or in the garage, but they know better than to get into trouble. If it really looked bad I would probable bring the goat inside too, but I just know she would get into trouble (I had her for over 6 years from when she was a week old and my husband was teasing me we would tie her outsdie so she couldn't blow away...it wasn't funny). But, I got to thinking, what do people do with horses, cows, goats and other large animals? We don't have a structure for the animals that could withstand a large hurricane, so putting them in a barn is out. Any thoughts?
