Okay how long is it - can we get a lunch while we wait - actually what time of the day is it???

We have only 1 child who will be 4 so I was thinking a sit down lunch at GF with just us 2 would be nice.

Any ideas???

I believe the GF Pirate Cruise is from 10:00 to 12:00, and the Yacht Club/Beach Club Albatross Pirate Cruise is from 9:30 to 11:30.

We plan on having a nice, leisurely brunch, and strolling around the resort for a while.

They do give you a beeper, in case they need to contact you.

Other parents have rented boats, taken younger siblings to a character meal, or ridden the monorail to pass the time.

Wow - is it really 2 hrs, that is worth the price of admission right there :cool1:

I am all for Lori's suggestion but we will be staying at CSR although DH wouldn't care :rotfl2:

I didn't realize they have one on the Boardwalk lagoon - hm, decisions decisions.... I guess it will depend on where I want to do it, I mean eat ;)

thanks all

DH and I rented Mice and toured around the lagoon.

A nice massage would be very relaxing.

Or, grabbing a book or newspaper and sit in the GF lobby!

FYI ... we booked my DD our GF pirate cruise for August

told us check in time was 9:15 ... so check time before you show up for 10am cruise

dont want you to miss the boat :boat:

btw ... we're planning on renting mice

We made a PS for Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. We hopped the monorail and had a wonderful breakfast of Tonga Toast. Then came back and toured the Grand Floridian.

We plan on doing the same thing again in November when our DS will be at Grand Adventures of Dining.

We did the same, breakfast at the Kona Cafe. Followed by a stroll around the Poly and GF grounds. In addition to the incredibly sweet and decadent Tonga Toast, they have pretty good eggs benedict and perhaps the best coffee on property.

There is enough time if you hurry to do some gift shopping along Main Street in the MK. You'll want to know what you need to pick up by checking it out a day or so before, but if you are picking up Santa presents or something....
