What Do I Need To Know?

I have not been to Disney in 2 years. I am going early December. I am aware of the FP+ changes, meaning that I book 60 days out. What else might I need to know?

I have dining reservation. I have tickets. I have customized my magic bands on Disneys site.

Sounds like you are pretty well prepared!! A couple random things off the top of my head that you probably already know:

The 7D Mine Ride and Anna & Elsa are, by far, the most popular things at MK.

Animation Academy at HS is closed.

No use rope drop time to do some rides before you start needing/using fast pass.

Or rope drop and rides in one park, then hop later in the day/evening and have your fast passes for the second park.

No. You'll still do well at rope drop, just like in the "old days." You want to schedule your fast passes for when the parks start to really fill up... like mid afternoon!

But realize that there might not be additional FPs available for headliners or even mid-level rides later in the day, depending on what time of year you go and how crowded it is. Those extra FPs are subject to availability and might be gone by the time you try for them. Just sayin'.

OP said they are going early December. There should still be mid level FP available for afternoon/evening.
