What is supplied and what should I pack or buy when I get there? Where is the closest Walmart or Target. Thanks in advance.:confused3

Hello! We stayed at Bonnet Creek 2 years ago and are going again in a few weeks. It is very nice. They supply sufficient dishes, including pots and pans and glasses and things like coffee maker, can opener, flatwear, etc. You will need garbage bags, paper towels, laundry soap and fabric softener; they give you a small starter supply of dish soap and dishwasher soap, so it depends on how much you'll use, if you'll need to buy more. Right now, I can't think of much else, except whatever food and beverages you want to stock your refrigerator with!
We were able to eat out much less since we had a full kitchen. The kids prefer cereal or toast in the morning anyway!:) It's a definite money saver!

I will have to reaquaint myself with the locations of the WalMarts and Targets when we get there, so can't really help you with that. I do know they weren't too far away.

Enjoy your trip!

It surprises me that you'd have to supply either garbage bags or paper towels. I haven't been to a timeshare that didn't supply those, but I've also not stayed at Bonnet Creek.

I believe that the closest WalMart is about 4 miles away on SR 535 in Kissimmee. From the resort, continue to down the exit/entrance access road and turn right onto Buena Vista Drive. Then take the ramp on the immediate right onto SR 536 and follow that about two and a half miles to the intersection with SR 535 (just after the Nickolodeon Hotel on the right get over into the right most lane before the intersection). Turn right onto SR 535 and go about a mile. The WalMart is on the right.

We're checking into a condo this weekend, driving down. So far I've packed:
laundry detergent and a few fabric softener sheets (got a smaller bottle of name brand at Dollar Tree and just put some dryer sheets in a ziploc baggie); disinfectant wipes; sodas and adult beverages; cereal and instant oatmeal; some snack foods; mwave popcorn; surge protector; duct tape and zip ties so we can McGuyver anything; some plastic spoons for eating breakfast "to go"; clothespins. That's all I can come up with now, but it sure feels like we're taking more than that!!

We've always had enough paper towels and garbage bags but bring extra laundry detergent, dryer sheets and dishwashing soap. No matter where we stay, we always run a load of dishes through the dishwasher when we arrive. I don't trust other people to clean them. :rotfl: We also stock up on snacks and beverages. We don't drink coffee but you may want some extra of that if you do. They also supply a bag of popcorn and I think a powder of crystal light or something similar. I am a diet coke drinker so pretty much ignore coffee and crystal light type things. They also have ice machines on 3 or 4 floors so you can get by until your icemaker gets stocked up. I also wipe down all handles and knobs with disinfectant wipes no matter where I stay. The BC condos are very nice and so far have been very clean. (we have stayed there 5 or 6 times).

Many thanks! We will probably have to get extra TP, my girls use it by the mile.

We were there in August. You just contact the front desk and they will bring you more toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, liquid dish cleaner, garbage bags, etc. They provide a few coffee filters- the big round kind, they also give you 1 crystal light to make lemonade, 1 popcorn, and a mini salt and pepper shaker. I brought my own laundry detergent and fabric softner although they provide you with one detergent. I also brought zip lock baggies and foil.

If you plan on making eggs you might want to bring a non stick pan.

They provide towels at the pool, we always went late, around 10:00pm and there were plenty of towels.

That's all I can think of for now.

I pack the Purex 3 in 1 sheets in my luggage as well as a few garbage bags from home. You can also throw a can of crystal light in a shoe as well as popcorn or oatmeal packets. I find that the prices at home are cheaper and it prevents waste. Then if we need more we go out and get it. We just stop for a couple of things on the way in.

We just got back from a week at Bonnet Creek today! This was our third time staying there and we had a great time. Have a wonderful trip!
