I read some of the post from a similar question; however, my situation is a little different. We are staying at CBR in June and 2yo makes Five. She is definitely too big for pnp but we already have bed space covered. I was planning to take an air matress from home. Are there any other options for her or one of the other children? I did not see anything about cot renatals.

We used air mattresses for ours. They worked fine, and they stowed underneath the beds when not in use.

We used blankets from the hotel room to make a nice bed on the floor and then used a spare sheet to put on top of it and another spare sheet to be covers. It worked great, was free, didn't have to haul anything, and wouldn't do it any other way. :goodvibes

I have brought and used the inflatable sleeping bags before....a narrow mattress inflates w/a small foot pump and then a sleeping bag slides over it. It has a built in pillow and the kids love it, cause they think they are camping! It is smaller and lighter than a reg. air mattress. Perfect for a small child.

My wife says go to ABBF.com. They have cribs, beds bassinets ect. We've never used them but have heard good reviews on it. and prices are pretty fair too.

We are packing a toddler ready bed (just like the link the above poster posted)

We did a trial run and my son loved it. There will only be 4 of us though, so he can crawl into bed with someone if need be (myself, DH and DD 4)

Thanx for all ur input. I was taking a princess air mattress. I may still. I looked on the website for the crib which sounds pretty good. My only concern is that how much room will it take up. I have never stayed at CBR. I m not sure how much moving room is there. Remember, there is 5 of us.

We stayed at Pop with 5 of us. My youngest was 2 months shy of turning 3 and he still slept in the pack and play and I thought it fit in the room nicely. As a matter of fact he convinced his dad to set up the pack and play at home the other day cause he wanted to sleep in it. He will turn 4 this July.

I think you can get a roll-a-way bed. We have had 3 cribs in a room before and still had room to move around so you should be ok with a roll-a-way.

We are renting a toddler bed for my son next trip from ABBF. They come with clean sheets and comforter (disney motif) I wouldn't want to sleep on the floor so I don't expect my son to either. I know people do it all the time and it works out perfectly fine, but I would rather spend a little extra money on a nice bed for him.

Guess it might depend on the kid, but for those of you who have had toddlers sleep on the floor, bed, or air mattress (in other words, anywhere they are not "confined") did you have any problems with them waking up/wandering around/getting into stuff in the room while you were sleeping?

Is your DD really tall? DS is 2.5 yrs old and he slept in the PnP on our trip a few weeks ago and he fit in it just fine.

When our youngest was 2.5 we brought a Pop up Playhut Tent and made a pallet inside of that. He sort of had his own little bedroom and didn't get up or roll off. It also allowed us to stay up a little later.

It folds up to a very compact size and fits into a bag that can go in a suitcase. They are a little pricey (around $30) to buy specifically for this, but we already had it so it worked perfectly.

He is 4.5 now and still likes to sleep in it!

I'm a little confused I guess. If you reserved a room for 5 then shouldnt there be sleeping room for 5? If not i would say see about getting a roll away bed, or the air mattress.

There can be one child under 3. Can sleep in pack and play or whatever, but there are not five places to sleep in a bed.

oh okay. I thought that if they booked 5 they would have room for 5. That kind of stinks. Then yeah a rollaway or blow up would be good.

I think I m going to take the air mattress just in case(evan if the 6y sleeps on it). I will request a pnp just in case she does seem to fit ok in it.

If you have your child sleep on the floor, do a test run yourself first - get down there and check for items/nasty things that could be invisible from your normal perspective. Check under the beds and chairs for protruding nails and tacks, and for trash that the mousekeepers might have missed.
