What do dreams mean?

Ok I only ask because I had this really DISTURBING dream/nightmare last night, Im almost afraid to tell it. It was about me and I had a baby boy (what I want), but the disturbing part was, a truck pulled up and I went to the back of the truck with my baby and there was a lady standing there putting other babies on this big fryer (like in restruants when they cook hamburgers and stuff) and she reached for my baby and I cried out NO, I LOVE MY BABY! and I could still hear the sizzle as she put each baby on the fryer. I woke up crying, it was horrible. I have no idea why I would even dream something like that. I have 2 girls and I want a boy so bad, but DH wants nomore kids. What a horrible dream it was.

Try going to www.dreamdoctor.com . My sister would have violet dreams. She had one that really bothered her. She emailed the dream doctor and he replied. She only told him about the dream but it was amazing the response she got. He told her what each thing in the dream represented and then asked her if she was going through this and that? He was dead on. The main reason for the dream was that she was transitioning to a new job. I can't explain it. You should really try it out.

But, I have two personal theories. One, is that the lady frying the babies represented your husband who doesn't want anymore kids and the hurt in your dream from watching the babies being put on the fryer is the hurt you feel because your husband doen't want anymore children. My next theory is that you are already pregnant and it's just one of those strange pregnant dreams. Or maybe you know you're pregnant and you're afraid what your husband might do/say when he finds out.

well right now I know Im not pregnant, I have been on the Depo shot and February 14 I have to go and renew the shot, I will take a test though incase the shot wore off since the 3 months is up. I will definately go to the dream doctor, thank you

Dreams like that can be so awful....I had a dream many many years ago.....and I have no idea why I dreamed such a thing....In the dream I was walking in a grocery store and the deli had live chickens in the rotiseree (sp?) going round and round....the birds were screaming....I woke up totally upset and disturbed....Thankfully, I have never done that again....

Oh goodness that would be disturbing! I often have extremely violent dreams that leave me unable to go back to sleep. People getting limbs cut off and things like that. Sometimes they are just odd. Mama Cass Elliott showed up in my dream last night. I love her, I just thought it was wierd. The world lost a great talent when she died.

Oh, I'm sorry it scared you like that! I hate those kinds of dreams.

I have violent nightmares all the time. If i don't have a nightmare like that, I have a weird, vivid dream. I walk/talk in my sleep. I think that has something to do with it. not sure though.

What a horrible dream!

I had one like that not long ago. I dreamt that we found out my cat, Sassy, (the one in my siggy) had cancer and then shortly after she ran away. She was the color she is in my siggy when she left (thats important later on. LOL.) I was sitting in the playroom after she ran away and we have huge windows in there that go all the way around 2 sides of the room. I looked out and there was Sassy walking past the window. But she was white now. And it was storming/raining really hard, so I somehow came to the conclusion that the rain washed her color away ( ). She started meowing at me and I knew what she was saying. She was claiming that she was Sassy, but I didn't believe her. So she let out one last big meow and turned and walked away. At that point I knew it was her and I called out "SASSY!!!!" She turned and ran to me (I guess I opened the windows at some point in time because I was still in the room). I brought her inside, we had a little happy reunion and then I let her down to run around the house. She went into my room and fell asleep on my bed. A few minutes later, I went into my room and she was dead. A few hours later, my parents couldn't figure out why I was crying (they knew she had died). Finally, my mom said "I know why she's crying, Its because of Sassy." And then they both rolled their eyes.

I woke up crying and Sassy was sleeping at the foot of my bed. So of course I had to wake her up to make sure she was OK. It was horrible. LOL.

I have read a lot of books on dream meanings, and though our dreams can be really strange, they usually have simple meanings. I would say that dream was just a representation of how you feel your dreams for a boy are gone, you just dreamed it in kind of a gruesome way.

Aidensmom thoughts sound about right.

Don't worry about it, I am sure you will probably have another baby, just give it time. Right now you have your hands pretty full and isn't Katelyn a tomboy

LOL yes she is mom, Katelyn is my boy and my girl.

What horrible dreams we all have had, why do we dream about negative things? Life is so wierd some times and so unexplainable.
