how do you know you're not going to like it if you don't watch it?

I love french movies (my favorite is eyes without a face, but thats not the point) I don't speak french (though I take the class) so I didn't think I'd like it, but I watched it and it is fantastic! Now I'll watch any movie in another language.
Because I know the type of movies I like and I can tell from previews, pictures, and movie summaries if I will like the movie or not.

Fantasia

When my daughter was little I could put this movie in and she would be sound asleep in no time...problem was it put me to sleep too... :confused3

The Black Cauldron (WAY too distrubing for children!!! :scared1: )
Atlantis (I don't hate it...but I don't really like it either :smooth: )
Treasure Planet (The point was...? )
Alice in Wonderland (Maybe cuz I only saw a short TV-taped version? :confused3 )
Snow White (Weird, I know...but for some reason, I never really caught on to the whole love of Snow White...cept I do love one of the songs now from it...now that I'm older :goodvibes )

Lilo and Stitch
Just about any sequel, IMO thy ruin the story and there usually not good
Finding Nemo was okay; I won’t buy it on DVD or anything
I don’t really like computer animation, hand drawn is way better...

Alice in Wonderland was...okay...it was a little too disturbing for my taste (and to think Walk actually lightend it up from Louis Carrols very disturbing version! LOL -- then again, that is what drugs will do to you lol).

Wasn't the guy who wrote it on an acid trip or something when he wrote it? :confused3

Also, I'm supprised nobody has said this one yet. Tarzan. God that movie sucked. The sad part is it has an awsome soundtrack. Phill Collins is a god, but the movie just flat out blew.

I also didn't care for the sequil to Beauty and the Beast. That's my all-time favorite Disney movie, and the second one just didn't even think about trying to live up to the first.

I have the tarzan soundtrack, and its great but that movie sucks. I was waiting for someone to say that.

And Alice In Wonderland is not for children. I read it. I've seen the movie. Thats so freaking distrubing.

Yep he was on drugs when he wrote it... and even more disturbing he was a pedophile! :crazy2:

TO ALL THE TARZAN HATERS: :sad2: I was never a big Tarzan fan either, but then I saw the musical on broadway and I loved it! Now its one of my all time favorite movies! And if you thought that the disney version was bad then you will absolutely hate Greystoke: The Legend Of Tarzan, which is based on the original book. ;)

But I dont hate any disney movies, there are some I dislike like treasure planet, and Atlantis :tinker:

I hate all sequals...they all suck and I have never seen a diney sequal (except Return of Jafar) that was worth buying let alone watching. I also HATE Remember the Titans...everyone thought it was amazing but it was quite boring. Actually other then the Pirate movies and the old 50s and 60s movies, Disney cant make a good non-animated Film.

Hurcules (excuse the spelling)
Aristocats
Lilo and Stitch
all the sequals except Return of Jafar and Toy Story
Pirates of the Caribbean

I thought Eight Below was good. I liked The Alamo. National Treasure was good. I liked Narnia. Miracle is IMO one of the best sports movies ever. The Santa Clause series is excellent. Homeward Bound was great. The Rookie is awsome. The Mighty Duck series is great. Flubber was good. Cool Runnings is a classic. Holes was A LOT better than I expected. You don't like it but Remember the Titans is IMO, the best sports/football movie out there. Also not to mention the countless montley movies disney has done.

Disney can make great non-animated flicks. :confused3

Oh yeah forgot about Narnia or Eight Below...decided to skip the Alamo and National Treasure but Narnia was good just because it wasnt their story :goodvibes The first Mighty Ducks was good but eh the others...ok maybe I should requote my sentence....becides Mighty Ducks...their sports movies are bad. :rotfl2:
