I am in severe Disney withdrawl right now. I've been looking at some of the food porn pics and that's not helping one bit.

Plus I had a boring sandwich for lunch and now I want something sweet.

So humor me and tell me what is your favorite Disney dessert. Post pics too if you've got 'em.

Cinnamon Tortilla with Vanilla Ice Cream at Whispering Canyon Cafe

and

Strawberry Shortcake at Hoop-de-doo (wish you could find this wonderful dessert somewhere else on property)

The Odyssea Restaurant in Epcot used to have the BEST key lime pie... it was the first key lime pie I'd ever had, and I'm still trying to find some that is THAT good.

These days, I really like the vanilla bean creme brulee at Concourse Steakhouse!

I remember the Twinkie Tiramisu at POP the most :hippie:

It's very memorable just because of all the Twinkie jokes first...but it's also a weird combination of a snack cake usually found in a plastic wrapper paired with a normally sophisticated Italian dessert :cool1: ...plus, it's the whole idea of eating something so delightfully crazy in a place where Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head are two stories tall :rotfl2: but even more, it's really quite tasty!!

these from the Grand Floridian Cafe were amazing. It was tiramisu, key lime pie, chocolate hazelnut torte, and cheesecake! yum!!!!

The Warm Chocolate Truffle Cake w/raspberry drizzle at Mama Melrose's. Several other restaurants have similar desserts, but I don't think any of the others are quite as good. However, I could be quite content with just a Dole Whip Float!

Ooo, and I always have to get a Citrus Swirl in Adventureland! I think they've changed it though, it seems sweeter than it used to be. I just love the sweetness of the ice cream and the tanginess of the OJ. Yummmy!

Berry Cobbler at Artist Point.

citrus swirl MK

KoKo puffs Kona Cafe

zebra domes AK Lodge

chocolate soda Beaches and Cream

We aren't big dessert eaters, but we remember these and try to plan for the future. We also really like chocolate cake with chocolate icing, but have found it next to impossible to find it without raspberry or cherry flavoring.

Does anyone know where chocolate cake with chocolate icing, without any fruit flavoring, not even a drizzle, and not German chocolate or any coconut can be found?

DH and I do not eat desserts much but a few years ago we ate at Alfredos and shared the dessert sampler...it had zabligone (sp), cannoli, chocolate covered strawberries, tiramisu and a dense chocolate cake with ganache....they were all rich and delicious!

The bar is set at Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding at Raglan Road. It should be it's own food group. I'm not given to hyperbole, but it's THAT good.

I really like the dessert sampler at Marrakesh too, it's just so exotic and delicious!

Grapefruit Cake at the Brown Derby! After looking SO FORWARD to eating there, it was the only thing about the meal that I enjoyed!

We usually don't get desserts these days - the kids, do, though - but what I remember vividly and sorely miss is the Ice Cream Pie they used to have at lunch in the old Top of the World at the CR. I loved that dessert - it was so refreshing! We sometimes go to the bakery in France to share a dessert - they have some pretty decadent choices!

The Flourless Chocolate Cake at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe was amazing. By far the best dessert we had on our trip. YUM!!:thumbsup2

the profiterols(not sure if I spelled that right) at Le Chefs de France and a chocolate malt at Beaches n' Cream, mmmmmmmmmmmmm yum:drinking1

Uh oh I think my picture is too big... how do I get rid of it?
