What did you wear to MVMCP??? Any pics???

I am trying to figure out what to dress the family in for this!! Any tips, suggestions?? What did you wear in the past??? Any photos to share?? I know I have issues when I am thinking about this so far ahead!!

Sorry but I don't have any suggestions. But do people really dress up for the Christmas Party? I was thinking of going to it someday but I didn't realize you'd wear anything but normal park attire.

My DDs & I wore Christmas t-shirts that I found at the Disney Store. I know that many families wear matching t-shirts that they make. You can get some great examples on the Creative DISigns forum here on the DIS. I hope to make matching shirts for our Grand Gathering that will be there together on Dec 22. The girls also wore their new Mickey & Minnie Santa hats that we bought at the MK. Later in the evening I bought each of us a MVMCP sweatshirt. The MVMCP merchandise is only sold during the party.

My DD ordered us matching Disney t-shirts. We wore them with jeans the entire night...no jackets needed! It was nice! This was last early December.

It depends on the weather. The night we went was on the colder side, mid 50's. later in the week it was in the low 70's at night. Only really "dressing-up" we did, was DW had some sort of Minnie Mouse x-mas type head band. I came this close to buying a Santa hat with Goofy ears. There were also a lot of people with Santa Mickey hats and Santa Stitch hats. Those were readily available in all that parks that time of year. I don't really recall seeing a lot of people dressed up in a lot of holiday gear. The MVMCP we went to has its own folder (about 20 pics or so, mostly of the parade though)

I don't have photos, but I have been to MVMCP twice (3rd time this year! ). I wear long pants like jeans, a sweater or long sleeved shirt that is Christmas themed (I have SO many cute Christmas shirts!), a zip up fleece/jacket, gloves (a must IMHO), and a Mickey/Minnie/Princess Santa hat to keep my head warm! I am from California so I always freeze at WDW in December. I just plan for it and make sure I bring plenty of clothes for layering!

I wore a denim long sleeved shirt with embroidered snowflakes on the front and my Santa Minnie hat.

DH and the boys wore sweatshirts they bought at Rainforest Cafe because they needed layers it was so frigid on the night we were at MVMCP. My younger DS wore his light up Sorcerer Mickey hat. DH and my older DS wore ballcaps.

Everyone wore a blue color. The photo turned out nice.

I originally planned to wear a navy blue zip front cardigan with little snowmen on the bottom. However, I thought it would be too warm for it. The sweater stayed behind in Pennsylvania. I really wished I'd have brought it because I was so cold.

The last 2 years we went it was in the low 40's so we wore layers, jeans, sneakers, long sleeve shirts under sweatshirts with fleece jackets...we had out Mickey Santa hats on and DH bought a pair of gloves from Main Street Emporium....we live in southern FL so our blood is thin lol

Everyone laughed at me but I bought a down jacket with fur hood (red_) because one year there was gale force winds and a windchill below 32. We froze. I was very comfortable in my jacket!! I have to admit though that some days a short sleeve shirt would have been perfect.

If your going before Xmas I would dress in christmas outfits to take a family photo for a christmas card. That's what I did last year, I dressed my boys in matching sweaters, mickey santa hats, and made christmas cards with that picture....
