What did you think? (American Idol Wild Card show.)

I thought it was interesting how much better (as a whole) the returning people did than the first-timers. Nerves and a little experience I guess.

Wow! What a difference it makes when they sing with a musical background recording instead of just a piano.

My predictions for the four finalists are:

1. Kimberly (although she didn't do as well last night as she had in the past, she is obviously very talented and attractive)

2. CLAY!!!! I think he is awesome. A stylist has obviously been working with him since he got to California, but I thought he was awesome during his first local audition too.

3. Trenyce did an amazing job last night.

4. I think this one is kind of a toss-up. Chip did well, but so did Allison (not the right spelling) who sang "Angel." It could even be someone else.

Your thoughts and predictions?!!!

P.S. I noticed that tonight's episode is an hour long instead of the normal half hour for announcing finalists.

that girl can sing! I think Kimberly Caldwell is really cute with great personality,but I don't think she's a good singer.But then again,Britney Spears isn't a good singer either and what a career she has!
Clay is a great singer with a great personality,but he looks like a dork not an American Idol.
Am I the only one that thinks Corey stinks?

I voted for Clay and Trenyce. Clay is my very favorite contestant--I think his voice is amazing! Plus, I think he has really worked on updating his "look" to be more pop-starry. Trenyce also did a very good job last night. Can't wait until tonight to see who goes on.

I thought Clay did a great job last night. I'm not a fan of Kimberly and I don't think she did well last night but I have a feeling the judges are going to pick her as one of their three choices.

I liked Clay and Trenyce as well. I can't remember her name, (Carmen??) but the girl that sang Can't Fight the Moonlight did pretty good, certainly not as bad as Simon implied.

I did not like any of the new people....missed seeing some other deserving people in the WC round (Hadas and Patrick F.)....

Nope, I'm amazed that the judges feel the way that they do. He doesn't impress me in the least.

I thought Clay was the best. That guy can sing! I also thought Carmen was great. I don't know why the judges didn't like her. I don't see what the big deal is about Kimberly - but she will probably make it through.

I sooooo agree with everything you said!! I loved Clay, Trenyce was good, but something about her look I don't like, and I really don't like Kimberly at all, can't stand her voice.

I agree with you Robin! She seems really cocky to me too. Something about her makes me think that she thinks she's got this in the bag.

I do not understand the fascination with Corey either.

Although Kimberly comes off as a little too arrogant and I think her voice is a little rough, I think that her looks will carry her pretty far in the competition.

I'm going to be cheering for Clay and Vanessa (pink hair) all they way!

I liked Kimberly, CLAY and Carmen (Utah girl - gotta root for her!) Clay was the very best!!!

Chip has a wonderful voice but he has some licking his lips thing that really annoys me! He does it while he's singing, while he's being interviewed, anyone else notice this?

Trenyce's song and voice was awesome but like others said, there is something about her look that doesn't seem right. Its like its all too busy, too much going on.

I actually like Trynyce better the last time. She sang so well but didn't really get noticed. This time it appeared she really stepped up her game to get noticed. For me it was a bit over the top but it got her noticed! The other gal (Nakeesha?) that tried to step up her game barely managed a smile - I don't think she realizes how her facial expression doesn't change.

I was dissappointed in the new ones too - I wanted Hadas, Samantha, and Patrick (the one whose clothes Simon didn't like) back.

It's amazing how similar everyone's opinions are on this one. I agree with the majority:
1- Definitely Clay!
2- Kimberly
3- Trynyce
4- Can't decide between Carman, Chip and Allyson (None of them are really in the same league as the above 3, IMHO).

I liked Clay from the get-go, even when he looked dorky.He really is nice looking, he cant help that he has funny ears. I think the fasination with corey is that he resembles justin guarini, the voice isnt all that though. After last nights preformance, I'm with clay all the way(loved his elton john rendition) . I am also worried that theres something wrong with me, I agree with Simon atleast 98.9 percent of the time. Does anyone else think that Ryan Seacrest is annoying?
