What did you pay last April/May-Poly/GF

Hi, I can't find any site that still has the dollar amount of historical rates other than rack rates, and I am just trying to figure out when I balance the expected (hoped for) room rate with air, when I can go.

We will stay either at the polynesian or GF. If it's poly, then we would like to stay concierge again (this time hopefully there will be an Ap disct for lagoon view). If we stay at the GF, then probably just lagoon view, no concierge.

If anyone remembers what they paid last April or May, please let me know. Part of our reservation will probably be during peak season (4/20) and then part will be during the regular season that starts on 4/23.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you pay the season price per length of stay-ie) if your check in day is peak rate, then you pay peak rate for the duration--if you want the cheaper rate that begins on 4/23, then you must re-book for that time. We stayed at the poly last peak/easter season, and to just verfiy how good it is to have an ap or triple a discount (which we did not) we paid over $1400 for three nights--garden view in Tokelau. eep! Add in airfare, food, tix, other hotel stay for the previous four nights,etc...well, you only turn 30 once

We also stayed Easter/Spring Break peak season last year at the Poly, so that would be comparable to peak April. We stayed GV concierge and got the AAA rate of $456.04+tax, then we were fortunate to instead apply a room-only code and paid $402+tax/night.

Like previous poster wrote, if you want to start your stay at peak and during your stay the season changes down, to get the lower rate, you'd have to split the reservation. If the season changes up during your stay, you get the benefit of paying the initial season's rate for your entire stay and don't have to split your reservation.
