followed by ice cream bought at the serve-yourself farm store up the road a piece. Grass-fed and grass-finished. (Better than Whole Paycheck’s options and closer to home.) I’ll post when DH grills them.

The whole place is on the honor system. Shop, check yourself out at the register. The ice cream is just in pints or novelty individually wrapped single servings in a freezer adjacent to the meat freezers.
I suspect they have cameras or something because while I was there last time one of the farmers showed up to stock a fridge and answer questions.

All this to say, that beef could taste like poison and I’ll still keep buying it.

Never had breakfast hash from prime rib. Mom made it for my DSis, but it never appealed to me.

do you eat any hash at all....my first wife loved the stuff out of the can, but the spuds really tasted off to me and never understood canned spuds any how.....so she taught me how to use real spuds for hash/breakfast, so I use any left over from roast or prime rib or the t-bone steak we are preping right now for dinner, seems to be a waste to eat the whole steak nowadays, so save for hash and fresh green onion bits . It is my go to breakfast when the day is hard and long, over easy cage free eggs....like an ice cream treat from a fast food ice cream store...do you have dairy queens?

Dairy Queens around here are seasonal! Turtle Blizzards with chocolate ice cream would be my favorite!
