What did you give your Bridesmaids?

Since I'm having only one attendant I'm splurging on her, since she's riding a train from Richmond, VA to be with me... she's terrified of flying!

I'm paying for her mani/pedi the day before the wedding, getting her a personalized LLBean tote bag filled with goodies, Tiffany bracelet, and paying for her drinks on our Drink Around the World at Epcot... the last one is incentive for her to stick it out with me! I'm determined to make it around the world!

A tiffany bracelet!!!!!! I love Tiffany. Can I be your bridesmaid???? :lmao:

I was going to get Lisa the charm bracelet from Tiffanys and have it engraved but I waited too long,I did not have enough time to have it made :( So that was why I went with the coach bracelet.

We had only one attendant, my MOH, who is also my niece. Since I've spoiled her beyond belief her entire life I didn't go overboard for the wedding ;) We paid for her dress, shoes, and got her garnet earrings. After the wedding I had a silver frame engraved with the wedding date and "My Niece . . . My Friend . . . My Maid of Honor" going around it and a picture of her and me from the wedding. She loved that.

I've gotten some nice bridesmaid gifts and some bad ones. I loved the silver bracelet with my initial charm. I got an ID bracelet with my name engraved on it and I wear that one a lot. But I've gotten the fake pearls too and hated those. One girl gave us each beautiful barrettes, except I have very short hair and never could wear them! One friend who I was MOH for didn't give any of us thank you presents :confused3

Yeah, my mom had to remind me to order it... ;)

Lots of cute gift ideas! This is what we did- (We didn't have a Disney wedding, just a WDW honeymoon).

For the guys and the girls we kept it the same. We bought a popcorn bucket, the kind that you put in the microwave and the popcorn is already in the bottom ready to pop. We filled the buckets with movie giftcards/tickets, a wedding related DVD (Wedding Crashers, Wedding Singer, My Best Friend's wedding- they each got the Target receipt on the back of the DVD in case they didn't like theirs). We also filled it with everyone's favorite candy and a couple other goodies and a note from us thanking them for their help/support. I think everyone liked it because everyone can use movie tickets.

Congrats to all the brides!

That's a really good idea! I'm getting mine 3 day park hoppers and maybe a few extras.

We decided to give all of our attendents the same gift also. Seeing as we were all travelling from Canada, we felt that we needed to spend more than for the average gift also. Each of them received a digital photo frame. They are all using them now with pictures from the trip and wedding.

Lynn I love that bag!! Where did you get it? It's to girly for my MOH (my sister) but it will be perfect for my BM... and I confess me!

I did something stupid for my "back-up singers."

I brought the MOH with me to buy gifts. Somehow my $100 each (I was buying for three girls, so $300 total) budget turned into buying them each an amethyst pendant necklace at over $200.

Sure, they were really nice and awesome, but I spent too much money and my sister and niece never even wore them again.

I knew if I went alone, I would quietly find a jewelry sale and find something in amethyst IN my budget (my wedding color was purple). And it didn't help that my MOH was telling the salespeople, "...she's the bride, she's the bride."

Yeah, that's my worry. I've been in 3 weddings, and each time I got some "costume jewelry" that I'd never wear again. I found a cultured pearl bracelet with an engravable charm at Things Remembered, and I think I might go with those. One piece of nicer jewelry instead of a cheaper set.
