I BF. and DS eats solids too (stage 1, 2 and 3 baby food, puffs, and yogurt melts right now).

Im trying to think ahead. What did your 10.5 mo eat at disney?

Did they eat anything off your plate?

Did you bring certain foods for them besides BM/formula?

We went with our 10 month old godson last August. We would share what was suitable for him which was most of the time. My girlfriend had her usual baby snacks in the the diaper bag along with a back jar of baby food and of of course his bottles.
We had no problems throughout our holiday.

My DS turned 10 mos on our trip and he at table food only (well, and he was BFing, too).

I took a couple of jars of baby food, but ended up bringing 'em back with me. And then donated them to the local food pantry as he never went back to purees, lol.

We were both off dairy, too at the time (well, no cheese or milk, but a little butter to cook with was fine at that point).

Chicken, hamburger, veggies, more french fries than necessary, fruit, etc. We never had an issue. Buffets were great!

And I did take snacks like puffs, cheerios, goldfish, etc.

Bring some Table Toppers and feed baby anything you want. When our son was 11 mos old at WDW, I'm pretty sure we just bought something small and broke it up and let him eat.

We had a studio at Old Key West so we had access to fridge and toaster so for breakfast he had yogurt and frozen waffles (and also nursed) We bought those at the grocery store when we first got there.

We also brought pirate's booty for snacks and some jarred purees as well.

Am I the only one who feeds my baby all baby food (he's 9 1/2 months old)? He only eats stage 3 jarred food. So we'll be taking tons of it to WDW in a couple of weeks. I know I should slack up at some point, but I just want him to eat as healthy as possible for as long as he will do it. (i.e. fruits and veggies).

At 10 1/2 months...DD was definitely eating what we ate in smaller bites. That being said, I would bring some stage 3 foods just in case he decides to be picky that week ;) OH and definitely bring the puffs! Those will help if he gets cranky in line :thumbsup2

Not at all. I know some BFing moms who ONLY BF for 1 year...no solids. We fed our daughter what we ate but that was our choice after consulting with her pedi. We did give her fruits and veggies...just not pureed ones in jar ;) Talk to your pedi about starting table food. Does he eat cheerios, puffs, etc? If he does without issue...it's probably fine to start other foods if you want. It would save you carrying all those baby food jars!

We took our twin boys at 9 mths. the first day of the trip we went to Wal-Mart to pick-up baby food, cheerios and puffs, to have on hand in the park just in case we could not find a restaurant nearby (or opened) at the time. Most of the time those the boys shared cut up versions of our meals, we also took in plenty of buffets because they offer great selections of vegetables, pastas, chicken, fruit that you could feed them.

My youngest DD was 10 months on her first trip and she pretty much ate whatever I had on my plate in smaller bites of course. She has always been an adventurous eater. She had weaned herself at 9 months, so she was drinking formula at that point. I used the pre-measured formula sticks, carried a water bottle which I mixed with free hot water from any restaurant (to get the temp right) and put that in her baby bottle. Worked like a charm every time! That trip was one of our easiest ever. It was great going with a little one, she loved everything and napped in her stroller when she was tired--no meltdowns or anything. Have a great trip :)

We took our DD when she was 9 months and she ate at Disney the same as she ate at home. I brought jars of baby food and powdered formula, then just mixed the formula with bottled water. I also had snacks in my bag (cheerios mostly) & occasionally she'd get some applesauce or mashed potatoes off one of our plates. It was actually pretty easy to feed her there.
