What did you eat today?

I am trying to diet a little and shed, I dunno, maybe ten pounds. However, even the best laid plans...you know. Here is how I blew it big time today:

Woke up this morning, and was hungry for an Egg McMuffing. DH, who hates McDonalds, was home, and suggests instead that we go to Cracker Barrell. I have Momma's Pancake B-fast: Three pancakes, with butter and maple syrup, two eggs over easy, a biscuit, a serving of their lovely hash brown casserol (it's cheesy...mmmmm), a slice of orange, and a large glass of OJ.

Came home. Vegetated. Forgot about lunch, but while running some errands, I get an urge for a Strawberry Sundae (McDonald's again) and decide that, this time, I should fulfill it.

Get home. DH is back from school. He decides to make dinner. He makes beef stew (very yummy) and rice. He also throws together an experiment...chopped portobello mushrooms cooked with olive oil, some of the stew beef, scallion onions, and cillantro. It is very tasty. We eat it with some baguette bread. Before dinner is done, we munch on this bread, both plain and dipped into olive oil. Dinner is polished off with a big plate of watermelon.

So now I am stuffed. I am contemplating a piece of cake in the fridge. I mean, I can always start over tomorrow, right?

What did you all eat today?
 
Hmmm, let me think.

Special K with Red Berries, OJ and coffee for breakfast.

1/2 piece of wheat toast.

Some leftover microwave 94% fat free Orville Redenbacher popcorn. :rolleyes:

Sesame Chicken Lean Cuisine for lunch.

Yoplait fat-free Apple Turnover yogurt.

Some chicken Healthy Choice thing for dinner.

Going to have a salad in a bit.

That's it. :) Except for maybe some more popcorn... :teeth:
 
Michelle...You eat just like my DH. I went to Weight Watchers before our cruise in 2002 to lose 10 pounds. He read my handouts and such and has been eating that way ever since. Its funny, when he went to his corporate offices in Illinois, everyone asked him how he lost weight and now all of corporate went on it. It was funny to hear them on a conference call, how much weight are you down now, etc, etc.

Try eating, like Michelle said above and when you have to munch, eat the 94% fat free popcorn.
 
Mjasp, it really is just the way I eat now...the whole way of life thing. :) Been doing it for years, with a couple of "regressions" along the way. ;)

I don't feel deprived at all, I really LIKE what I eat but just stop when I'm full.

It definitely does help with weight issues, that's for sure. I weigh as little as I ever have in my adult life and feel healthy and great. :)

sm portion of sauerkraut with 2 low-fat fried wienes

1 bag 94% fat free Orville Redenbacher popcorn



more today than the last few days. I , too, am trying to shead a few pounds.
 
2 eggs, 2 slices bacon
Summer sausage, cheddar cheese, 6 slices pickled beets
Blue Bunny lite85 yogurt (strawberry today)
Italian herb chicken & salad

Did it taste like the pepperoni that Dominos puts on my pizza?
If so, very scary.
 
I didn't eat breakfast.
I had half an order of Popcorn Chicken from Sonic and a coke float for lunch.
Had a cheeseburger and fries from the grill here at home for supper.

Probably not the most nutrious food I know :(
 
No breakfast
Chashu Men soup and a Sprite
Some RazzmaTazz sour strips
Motzorella strips, Chicken fingers, fries and a Dr. Pepper

EHHH Too much for today.
 
Tuna fish for breakfast
celery with blue cheese dressing for snack
pepperoni with melted cheese on it for lunch
roast beef for dinner
jello with whipped cream for snack
roasted almonds for snack
too much water to even think about!!
 
I'm doing the Special K 2 bowl diet. So.......

a bowl of cereal for breakfast
a bowl of cereal for lunch
some applesauce for a snack
salad and a slice of pizza for dinner.
Also, had a small bowl of apple crisp with ice cream for desert.


I have been doing the Special K diet for a week now and have lost 5 lbs. Of course, I drink a ton of water and do low impack aerobic exercises, too........for my neck therapy!:D
 
yesterday some cereal

Lunch was grilled cheese, small cup of cream of celery soup

few cheese pretzels

dinner was stir fried pork, broccoli

desert was small amount of ice cream
 
Yesterday I ate

B: cheese and 2 deviled eggs
L: Atkins chocolate shake
S: 1 deviled egg, cheese
D: bacon cheeseburger (no bun) and salad

and I lost 1 1/2 lbs yesterday. :)
 
Breakfast was two slices of toast one with marmite - with hot tea
Lunch packet of potato chips (crisps) and a yoghurt - with Appletise (apple soda drink)
Dinner will be stir fry with beef, sweet and sour chicken, mini ribs and plum duck with rice and prawn crackers cooked by me - YUMMY. Will most probably be with a nice glass of dry white wine!!!

Well, since I was just diagnosed as diabetic a few days ago...I am being really, really careful as I don't want to ever have to do shots!! So, that said, for breakfast I had a multi-grain English muffin with a tiny bit of butter and diet raspberry preserves along with a banana. For lunch I had a can of tomato soup prepared with water, 45 oyster crackers (one serving), a cup of green beans and a half cup of lo-fat cottage cheese. I'll have an apple this afternoon, dinner will be a Lean Cuisine meal, and popcorn for an evening snack.
 
Honey Nut Cheerios and Pizza from our High School Cafeteria (yum :rolleyes: )
 
Bacon and eggs

Tuna salad rolled up in romaine lettuce leaf x2

Pot roast with cauliflower and cheese sauce.

Sugar free popsicle.
