Ok so i'm thinking that maybe that instead of going from one event to the other that we would have a break.

the day could be like this:

12pm ceremony at SBP
1-1:30 photos
2- 4pm reception at the attic
4-5pm drinks somewhere

5-8 gap

8pm DP at Dessert Party

I want to wear my wedding dress at epcot as i think i'm paying all this money for it i might as well wear it all day!

So what did you do in your gap? is it worth organising an activity for everyone?
Did people have a problem with the gap eg. getting back to their resort/villa etc and then coming back again?

You have a very similar schedule to ours!

Dh and I were so exhausted, we took a nap during our 3.5 hour break.

For our guests, I did 2 things- Drinking around the world bingo cards and a photo scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt was a last minute addition, and I got the idea from one of the cruise brides. I made that one so that the people playing wouldn't have to go into the park if they didn't want to.

As it turned out I really didn't need to do either. Everyone entertained themselves or, took a nap like us. When we met back up for the Dessert Party everyone was happy and content and full of stories about what they'd seen in Downtown Disney or Epcot.

Our reception at ADH was over at 3:00 and everyone was supposed to get together at 7:45 at the front of Epcot for our Dessert Party. At 3:00 our chartered bus brought everyone back to their resort (most at POFQ). From what I heard - most everyone got changed, hung out by the pool (it was November and definately warm enough), took a nap or just relaxed.

My DH and I stayed with Misty till around 4:30 and took more photos. After that we went back to our room (The Boardwalk Villas) and I got out of my dress. We relaxed, had some snacks, went through some of our wedding cards. I got back in my dress and we headed over to Epcot for our Dessert Party. I honestly did not plan anything for our guests (we had 50) during the down time. They all were up very early for our 9:00 Epcot ceremony and I figured they would all enjoy the rest.

We took a nap and had room-service dinner. Our guests were on their own to swim, nap, and play in the parks. :thumbsup2

Our reception ended at 5 and we told everyone to be at Epcot at 730.
We checked into the Yacht Club for our comp night and just vegged out. I know some of our guests went swimming and most changed before meeting up at Epcot. I also sent DH to the gift shop to buy bandaids since my shoes were rubbing my feet. I went through all the photos that had been taken with my camera.

I was wondering the same thing. We'll be on almost exactly the same schedule and I was wondering if I should move things around a bit to give people more time to do the park thing. I kinda just planned on telling them not to even bother trying to go to the parks that day, since our reception ends at 5pm and we have to be back for our DP at 9pm. I figure they'll entertain themselves and possibly hang out by the pool or do some DTD shopping.

How does the charter bus work during the break? With a reception @ LSS from 1-5pm and a DP from 9-10pm, would you have to pay for the time in between? Is there a way around having to have the charter for the DP? We'll probably have just under 60 guests and quite a few without passes.

We're planning on doing something similar to the other brides.

Our reception will finish at 4pm and our DP doesn't start until 9pm. We are planning on having the bus back to take them back to their resort to nap/change/swim if they wish, or I'll probably make a document with some stuff to do around the resort monorails if they don't want to go back, my guess is they probably will though as they'll have been up quite early for our 10am ceremony.

We have Misty until 6pm so I'm going to see if there's a way we can get over to the Boardwalk for photos - I love the vintage seashore theme and when we were planning an at home reception that was going to be the theme. 6pm - 9pm, we're going to chill out in our room or the Concierge Lounge, or head to Mizner's if our families/friends are around.
