What did you do after your DP?

So Wishes is going to be on at 8pm on our day. I don't really want to have our day end at 9.

Did any of you ladies go back to your reception location?

I am stuck for ideas. And I think maybe us hitting the GFs bar might be a bit of a letdown....

Depending on whether your guests have park tix or not..

After our DP in Morocco, Epcot had EMH that night, so they were open for 3 hours after our DP ended!
Those guests that stayed at BW just went back and changed their clothes and walked back into Epcot for a couple of hours and others brought their clothes to the meet and greet dinner and we held them for them to change into.

A lot of people were too tired to do anything more actually! We had a long day, some guests and bridal party peeps had been going since like 10:30 in the morning, so almost 12 hours later, they were pooped!

I would check into EMH for sure. What day is your wedding on? Epcot has EMH on Fridays usually and MK does on Sundays...I'm not sure of the other days/parks...

Oh Good question! I didn't think about that!! Wishes should be around 9 for our party...we weren't going to extend the reception after that. Maybe go somewhere with just DH???

I think you and DH will be exhausted so you should call it a night. Maybe you can arrange to have a basket with champagne, and chocolates waiting in your room. Check the disney floral website, they have some cute stuff.

Lol, this was Jack's suggestion! But (and I don't want to sound really harsh to him here) do you know what I mean in that I'll kinda feel the whole wedding is finished once we say 'bye' to our guests?

I love the idea of having a lovely evening the two of us, but we will have 2 weeks after for that, and I don't want the day to suddenly end. Poor Jack!

Jellyrolls! I'm getting married at Downtown Disney and my reception will end arounf 8. If Pleasure Island were still there we'd be headed there, but we're going to Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk instead.

I asked my friends if they expected dancing... they said they would dance, so...

I think we might be headed to Jellyrolls after the DP is over BUT I'm not sure if they realise how tiring it will be, having been on the go since early morning and in the August heat. So I'm just waiting for everyone to say they're going back to their hotels We'll probably get a drink in Mizner's Lounge just the 2 of us in our wedding gear

Our plans are to head to the pool with our friends/family that have stayed. We'll grab a drink and just hang out laughing about the things that went wrong.

Although, DFi and FBIL have suggested we just go back to the hotel room. I was know I am just going to be too tired. I want to have hang out with my brother before he has to go home. I'lll be with DFi for the rest of my life.

We took pictures with Misty around the Wildnerness Lodge where we stayed.

I will tell you this though, you may not think so now, but you will be REALLY tired after a full day of wedding functions. I thought I would be on a high all night but by the time the DP came around I wanted to get out of that darn dress (which I thought I would never want to take off) and go to bed.

Thanks Toni, yeah I think I might feel pretty similar. Something tells me the first thing I'll want to do is take a bath! Maybe I wont plan anything then, and people can do what they want. It will have been a long day, and they will have WDW to see the next day.
