NOTHING!
So far! LOL
I watched for a while at 3 Lauren started fussing - I got up and she stopped by the time I made it down the hall so I went and watched for 20 minutes and I have had it on and off since I got up at 6 and I havent seen anything I don't have already or that I HAVE TO HAVE!

I saw the special value of the day this morning. That looks sooo cool. I hate my handwriting and think that could really help with my lettering. That is all that I have seen so far. I am taping everything all day since I am at work. So I will have a lot of tape to watch when I get home. But I know I will be sneaking peeks all day on QVCs web site.

I don't plan to buy anything. But I'm watching ( and taping ) while I clean up my scrap area. And from what I see in this room , I need to use what I have before buying anything else ( well except for adhesive and paper ). Of course I could probably go shopping at my friend Patty's home for those things. ( lol ) I would like to get the quickutz down the road, but I will probably invest in more dies then the letters. Since I already have the sizzix machine , I will probably invest in more sizzlet letters.

2005 is my year to not buy any more scrapbooking supplies until I use up my massive stash.
I'm taping all the shows to get some ideas. It's playing in the background right now. Sure wish I could get that Quick Cuts system, but I'm not going to buy any scrap supplies. That looks cool, though. :)

The fact that I gave the quikuts is just plain WRONG!

The font looks to small for me anyways - I have a hard enough time with the sizzlets 'Girls are Weird'

I just got my sidekick to - and I LOVE IT! (although Mark did not LOVE it when he came in and saw me using it - KNEW it was new - and asked about it - said it was neat - then the HOW MUCH question <gasp>
I said $50 and he said - "we could build our house without a mortgage if you just sold all your scrapping supplies" I said "could be worse I could be a drug addict" (the usual line - lol) But I didn't tell him the rat-a-tat font was $100 (hanging head in shame - he didn't ask!)

Come shopping up north here anytime Cyndi - lol

They just sold out of TSV, but they offered the "wait list". Do they still do that thing where each hour/show they offer something in it's place from that group at a special price?

Just curious, since I wasn't really interested in the Quick Kuts, but might be in something else.

I don't do a lot of shopping on QVC, but was very interested in the quick cuts. Just have not ordered it yet today. Does anyone know if we order today for the wait list, will they still observe the value price for today? TIA.

They said something along the lines of "if it comes in within 45 days they'd send it & you'd get it for the TSV price."

They make it so easy !

I broke down

I bought THE PERFECT Layers thing -
as my fiskars trimmer has not been cutting straight and I needed to replace it with something -
I remember reading good things about it -
anyne?????

Darn. I had no idea how QVC worked, so I didn't buy the quickuts thing when I first saw it. Took my kids to their swim/gym and art program at the Y and was telling a friend (a scrapbooker) and she said "oh, they sometimes sell out of the special value of the day item." So as soon as the program was over I rounded up the kids and rushed home....only to find it sold out. Oh well. :(

Ohiominnie-
looks like they are suing waitlist online for it
just go to qvc.com they will get it to you in 45 days at that price!

but only if it comes back in stock....right? does that happen often?

I just caved! I put myself on the wait list for the quick cuts. Hopefully it will come in within 45 days and I can get it for that price. Now to just go home and watch the tape I have been taping all day long. Hopefully I will find nothing else.

I bought the Gilded foil thing. They demonstrated it and it was neat!!

If you go to more search options and type F10166 that is what I got.

Just the Perfect Layers for me. We're having a big family crop in February and I thought this would be something all of us could use and enjoy!!

I totally forgot ALL about it and didn't watch one min. I can't believe it!! I even had it written on my calendar!! I was just so busy w/work, never thought about it. Does anyone know if/when they'll have another one?!

I would imagine they will have another one in a few months. They still have some products available on-line.

I caved and ordered the foam rubber alphabet stamp and ink pad set. It was only $24 and included 2 alphabets, numbers, and lots of ink pads. I also ordered the 128 piece brad set. I have a friend I am introducing to scrapbooking so I'll share with her. I also am on the wait list for a couple of more items, including the perfect layers I remember people raving about here. I hope I get it!

I thought I heard them say something like "There won't be another event like this until August."

I taped it...and bought the glitter pens that were a One Time Only special when the TSV sold out. There was nothing that I really "had" to have, and until I finish cleaning up my scrapbook supplies and use them, LOL, I might as well wait.

I bought the Perfect Layers a few months back and I like mine. My Fiskars trimmer also doesn't cut straight... what's up with those? I like that you can make different width mats for your pictures, can do double mats, etc. and its really easy!

BTW, this is my first post to this board. I've been a scrapbooker for about 6 years now and its nice to find other DIS scrappers! :flower1:
