It's gone! We sold the pop-up! A guy gave us some money and just took it away. And he hasn't brought it back! We're not sure if we should be happy or sad. Happy, definitely....it needed more work than DH wanted to put into it. But we miss the Beast already .

Now what will we camp in? We found a reservation at FW for Nov 21-24 and couldn't pass it up. I think we need to find a camper asap! But what should we buy? I guess there's always the tent....

There's the option of renting a popup or fifth wheel from fellow DIS'ers that rent them.

Thanks for the commiseration and advice! We really don't know what we want yet. Something used and not too expensive!

We need to have room for 5 (including a rapidly growing 12yo boy, a teenage girl who wants her own space, and a 7yo girl with lots of toys). Motorhome, travel trailer, or another popup? We just can't decide. DH wants a 5th wheel, but we're not buying a new truck, so nope to that idea. We'll be looking at a few campers this weekend so maybe we'll see something we like.

Take the tent for your Fort stay and look around at all the different set ups. Put lots of thought and consideration into what will work best for you.

Those dates should be perfect for tent camping.

We just went through the same thing our Class C was falling apart. We ended up trading it in at a on a used Ford F-250 . We have 4 wheelers that we take camping but could not afford a toy hauler. After looking at several hundred fifth wheels and tt's we found something that meets our needs. Take your time, look at other campers at the fort and have fun looking !
