Just walked in as the reporter on the news said "Coming up at 6:00 we will fill you in on Disney's latest news on upcoming developments and they showed a picture of Main Street, MK??

Anyone know what this is about?

Of course after I posted this the report comes back on after the commercial and said that Disney has announced that they are investigating the possibility of opening smaller 1 park locations throughout the US (up to 6 parks) which would allow families who can't afford trips to FL or CA to do one day visits and allow their children to experience the Disney magic. Then she said more info at 6 as to what states Disney is looking at.

Hmmm.. Smaller parks like Great Flags, targeted as one day destinations.. Wow, how cool would that be if they are centrally located throughout the US..

The park thing would be wonderful, but if it was today, it was probably the bad news - the guy who plays the Beast for the Beauty stage show was arrested for child pornography. He is also a "Goofy" character sometimes. Sounds like the characters have had a tough start to the new year!
