It's not Thanksgiving without the sweet potaot pie and banana pudding. We're also having apple pie, German Chocolate Cake, pound cake and some type of cheese cake.

I make a triple chocolate cake-mocha cake layered with milk and white chocolate ganashe and frosted with bittersweet chocolate frosting. MIL will be bringing pies, and my sister is bringing cookies

I am making an apple pie and a cherry pie. Only 6 of us, but one doesn't like apple, and one doesn't like cherry! Seems like a good enough reason to have both!

I'm making a pumpkin roll to take to my adult DD's boyfriends mothers for dinner....boy that was a mouthful!LOL His mom just lost her husband 6 months ago and my mom just lost my father recently. Both are lonely and we're hoping they make a "friendship connection". I'm a little nervous about the whole thing - I've cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the last 20 years - 1st time to eat outside immediate family.

DW MeanLaureen is proving once again how crazy she is. After losing the use of her left hand yesterday (illness related - long story) she will singlehandedly (pun intended ) be making an 11 course dinner PLUS the following desserts:

Peaches and Cream Pie (more of a cake actually)
Cookies and Cream Pie
Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
Chocolate Fudge Cake
Sour Cream Honey Bun Cake
Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

plus some breads and cookies/brownies.

I've stopped eating to get ready for tomorrow
