What defunct Disney attraction do you miss most?

Hmmm... I did love River Country, but I don't think it would work now. So, I have the best memories of it, but I don't know that I miss it. IYSWIM.

At Epcot, I liked the more 'educational' pavilions. Along with the Maelstrom.

At Hollywood Studios, I'd love to see The Great Movie Ride back, somehow. Along with a focus on movie-making, generally.

The real miss for me, though, is nighttime parades. Main Street Electrical Parade at MK and Paint the Night at DL (I hadn't seen the latter, but really want to!). The light parades were really Disney ...really magical... for me. I don't really understand why Mickey doesn't care about them anymore!

I have only been to Disneyland, so my replies reflect that :)

PeopleMover
Bear Country Jamboree
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
Not a Nemo fan. Hazy memories of 10,000 Leagues under the sea were better.
PeopleMover, Country Bear Jamboree and Swiss Family Treehouse have all left Disneyland? 😢 😭

That is correct. The Peoplemover track still stands as they changed it to the ill-fated Rocket Rods and damaged the structures. CBJ became their Winnie the Pooh ride. The Swiss Family Treehouse was changed to Tarzan;s Treehouse, but recently was changed to the mouthful of a name: "Adventureland Treehouse inspired by Walt Disney's Swiss Family Robinson." So you might, in a way, say that it has come back!

In this order:

Main Street Electrical Parade
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Lights Motors Action
Backlot Tour
If You Had Wings
Maelstrom

Hmm... The original Journey to Imagination that introduced Figment to us will always be a favorite.

Ellen's energy for sure. I loved the dinosaurs and the cart ride was so well thought out.

Also, a long time ago (late 80s?), there was one ride in EPCOT where they were talking about the future and all I remember about the ride was being in a buggy similar to Peter Pan and it took you around some displays. The one that comes to mind was seeing an orange grove and then smelling the oranges. They were talking about the "smellovision", and I just remember loving the smell of those oranges.

There was the "If you had wings" one and the "Making Memories" from Kodak, too.

More recently, my kids enjoyed that interaction in Epcot where they could design their own roller coaster, then ride it using VR, if I remember correctly.

Of course, I loved the Captain EO and was so happy to revisit it when it had returned.

But the most impactful one for me was the Animation Studio tour. I loved watching them draw and learning about the process. I even dreamed of doing that one day (alas, one needs some talent for that, lol). I do wonder just how many artists it did inspire, though.

Well, it wasn't a separate ride vehicle, but Soarin' over California, which started at Disney's California Adventure, showed at EPCOT for a time. You "rode" in big swing-like seats, three tiers of them, and one of the scenes in it was over an orange grove with the orange scent piped into the room. It also had ocean spray scent for the scenes over the ocean.

Maybe. I don't remember it being like Soarin', but it was a long time ago.

I would guess you're thinking of Horizons.

At DLR, country bear jamboree, especially the holiday version. People mover, and rockets above tomorrowland (instead of at entrance). Oh and the skyway to fantasy land (or tomorrowland)

I'm sure I can only remember a handful of them, maybe you can help. Mr.Toad's Wild Ride was a favorite of mine when I was a kid, and I also remember 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea at MK. At Epcot I really enjoyed Ellen's Energy Adventure, and I think there were also Horizons and a Delta Sky Flight or something, but I don't even remember those, and I don't think I ever rode Maelstrom, although I would have been at Epcot during the years it was in operation. At HS, I loved The Great Movie ride! I'm sure I'm missing some I can't remember.

I think I'd have to say that the attraction that I most miss is Primeval Whirl. I loved that ride and my family had so much fun on it over the years! I was really sad to see it go and I get nostalgic every time I walk past that part of AK. I can almost hear the ghosts of my children's laughter.
So many... At MK, I miss the Skyway especially to watch fireworks), the original Tiki Birds, and Mr. Toad. the politically incorrect Pirates and Jungle Cruise.

Studios: Great Movie Ride (we got stuck on it during its first week open), backlot tour, and believe it or not, Would you like to be a Millionaire (nice long a/d and interesting).

Epcot is what I personally feel has been gutted. The original Universe of Energy. World of Motion 9we were given a one tin lizzy wonder in return.

Even worse was replacing Horizons with Mission Space. Can you figure out why replacing the odor or oranges with that of vomit was considered a good idea?

And then we have Imagination. I really miss the original. One of my fondest memories is that of Dreamfinder and Figment playing with my kids for at least 10 minutes. I miss Kitchen Caberet.

I also miss the music. The entertainers like the Beatles cover group in the garden in England, The group in Canada. And the music on the attractions....Tomorrow's Child, True Colors, Universe of Enetgy.

I've been going to WDW since 1988, usually at least once a year. I used to be somewhere you where you could take from an attraction whatever your personality or age allowed. Now, the newer attractions are just kind of in your face. There's no time nor is there any content to reflect on. It's a real change, and one that I think is missed by many.

Can I miss a ride that ALMOST was but never quite made it? The river ride at the German Pavilion in EPCOT. Would have LOVED to see that.

*The Disney Gallery above Pirates of Caribbean - perfect getaway for a/c park break. The relocation of it on main street is not the same. Going up the stairs, having that great entrance view and exit view. Can't explain it. It was really cool being above the masses in that gallery. It was floor to ceiling art. It was also cool because artists were up there too working in real time.
*Skyway - No walking across the park. Skyway was the shortcut.
*Big Thunder Ranch/petting zoo
*Old Snow-White ride where you could touch the golden apple in front of ride and the lightning would crack so loud and window curtain above would pull and Evil Queen/Witch would appear. We would ding dong ditch it a lot. The lightning crack would scare people.
*Submarine Voyage: Big mermaid fan. The mermaids were my favorite part.
*Days without paper fastpasses/fastpasses/genie+ Everyone was equal.
*Cafe Orleans Pommes Fries
