What day of the week for MK?

I am arriving 12/8-Friday and we will be there until Thur 12/14. I checked Touringplans.com and they suggested either Saturday or Tuesday. I am not going to MVMCP so I don't want to go on Mon or Tue so we can see the fireworks. I am also worried about going to MK on a Saturday since most people say it is packed on the weekends. I guess I could make my DD who is 6 wait until Wednesday, but that seems awfully hard. Any suggestions or advice from people who have gone to MK on a weekend in December would be great. Thanks everyone. By the way, I am staying at the BC so I can't just take the monorail over to see the fireworks.

At the time of year you are going, you will be fine. Conventional wisdom is that MK is a but less crowded on Tuesdays (due to EMH schedule), but I think that in early December you can look forward to low/moderate crowds whenver you go. I would go to MK early and often. YMMV

Unless it's a 3-day weekend you'll be fine on a Saturday as long as there is no emh.
Keep in mind that TP.C's list is subject to change when schedules and the like come out.
