What day for Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party?

I know the official party dates haven't yet been released, but based on what I've read, we're guessing the even will be available on Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday nights. Would it be best to go on Tuesday since the parks are less crowded mid-week? Or would Sunday night be a good day since many locals have to get up for work on Monday morning?

Also how do you handle visiting the parks on the day of the party? If, for example, the party is scheduled in Disneyland for Tuesday night and will close earlier than normal, does that mean the crowds are greater that day and perhaps it would be best to visit DCA instead during the day?

Thanks for your input.

Tuesday is my vote. Stay tuned to our Halloween at DL super thread where most of the Halloween-related things will be discussed.

Oh, and forgot to add - no one knows yet what crowds will be like until World of Color starts, but it stands to reason that if the TOTP is being held in DL and DL has to close early, DL will be pretty busy early that day.

Yeah I picked Tuesday as well lol, I'd rather spend my Friday and Saturday nights at DCA where it will be less crowded than in the packed TOTP at DL (if that's how it turns out to be)

Not necessarily. Admission to the DL does not give you admission to the party. Likewise, admission to the party does not give you admission to DL during the day. So in that sense, they are not related.

Where there is a connection is park hours. Since the park will be open shorter hours that day, some may not go because they don't feel they are getting their money's worth. (Of course, the element they are forgetting to factor in is that shorter hours generally means less people which generally means the ability to do more in less time.)

So, in reality, it doesn't matter. Hop back and forth between DL and DCA and have a good time enjoying whatever interests you. :goodvibes
