What day do you start your vacation?

I'm starting on a Friday too. Ending the next Saturday. (8 nights)

It just depends for us. This year we'll be arriving at WDW late on a Thursday night.

This year, it's Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) to the following Sunday. This way I get 10 days at WDW, but only use 5 vacation days from work. Have done this twice before and love it!!

If I go with family, it's usually a Saturday to a Saturday (sometimes a Sunday).

I usually take one "real" vacation each year, so I try to make the most of the time.

Thursday, always. But next December I'm thinking maybe Wednesday.

Friday to Friday, so you have a couple days to recover before going back to work.

Check in early tuesday and check out the following wed.....We get to Orlando a day early (monday) and stay at the cheap comfort inn right outside the gate to DTD.

We typically leave for vacations on friday after work. Except for Disney, We try to always get there Monday and leave by early Friday afternoon before the weekend rush takes over.

Sunday, always Sunday. Esp now that we are DVC. Funny how it still was always Sunday even before we were DVC members.

We've usually started on Thursday or Friday with a trip to DTD. However, we're going to try flying in on a Monday morning in May. . .just to do something different!

We usually start a vacation on a Friday or Saturday. However, our Dis vacation started on a Wednesday (the day DH's conference ended in Dis) last month.

Because we drive down, we like to start in the middle of the week. We find that traffic is alot less heavy for us.

We generally drive a little more than halfway on Friday, are there by mid-day Sat...check in, go buy groceries or hit an outlet mall while we wait on the room to be ready.

It all depends. Kids had off from school a few days starting last week so we went by that.

I try to go on Tues or Wed- bc airfare is cheaper and it seems less crowded during travel time.

We don't have a set day of the week. I do like to arrive at my WDW vacation a day earlier though. So, if we are checking in on Monday we'll drive down on Sunday. We stay off property and maybe will do DTD for dinner.
