What date is Labor Day??

I don't know anything about this US holiday but I would like to know the date! Im not sure if it is one of those movable holidays like Easter or if it has a set date, so in case it is movable I am looking for the 2004 date.

I'm pretty sure it's always the first Monday in September, Mel. In 2004 it will be 6 September.

I've found a list of US holiday dates and posted it here , and Labor Day is the first Monday in September, just as Paul says
